Step 1. Log in to your Freshworks account and go to Settings > Integrations > Add Integration.
Step 2. In the “Add Integration” window, choose BambooHR from the list of supported integrations. Then click on “Continue” to proceed further.
Step 3. In the next window, enter your BambooHR credentials along with the API keys. You can find your API keys in your BambooHR account under Account > API Keys section. After entering your credentials click on “Save Integration” to proceed further.
Step 4. In the “Integration Settings” window, select “Sync New Records” from the dropdown menu if you want Freshworks CRM to automatically update existing records in BambooHR anytime a new record is created in Freshworks CRM. Select “Sync Existing Records” from the dropdown menu if you want Freshworks CRM to automatically update existing records in BambooHR anytime a new record is created in BambooHR. Also, select “Sync Values Only” from this dropdown menu if you want Freshworks CRM to automatically update existing records in BambooHR anytime values in Freshworks CRM are changed but not when changes are made in field names or descriptions in Freshworks CRM. Click on “Save Integration” to finalize the integration settings.
Once you have completed these steps successfully, you will see two options in your Freshworks CRM account under Settings > Integrations > BambooHR Integration. One option will allow you to view all your previously synced records while another option will allow you to view any new records that are synced with your Freshworks CRM account after you complete these steps. You will also see two options under Settings > Integrations > BambooHR Integration > Sync History tab that will enable you to view all your previous sync history or view only recent sync history. Both the options will show you all your sync history including all your previous sync actions along with their start dates, end dates and descriptions. This will help you know when two-way sync was set up automatically or when it was manually started or stopped. You can also find all your most recent sync actions under Settings > Integrations > BambooHR Integration > Sync History tab. This tab will show you all your most recent sync actions along with their descriptions and start/end dates so that you know what action has been performed on your account recently.
