CloudWatch gives developers new ways to gather metrics from their applications running on AWS without having to install or configure any additional software or hardware components themselves. Developers can also view metrics from their mobile devices using the CloudWatch mobile app for Android™ devices or for iOS devices using the CloudWatch mobile app for iPhone® and iPad® devices.
