Integration of Freshsales and Odoo ERP Self Hosted

Freshsales integrates with Odoo ERP Self Hosted via webhooks. The steps below outline the process of integrating Freshsales and Odoo ERP Self Hosted using webhooks. Before integrating the two applications, you need to have a Freshsales account and Odoo ERP Self Hosted account. Make sure both accounts are created before starting the integration process. For additional information on creating an account, visit the fplowing links:

Create an account in Freshsales and Odoo ERP Self Hosted. The default URL of Odoo ERP Server is http://localhost:5000/web. You can find this URL in the admin conspe of Odoo ERP Server when you log into the application. Step 1 - Create an API Key for Freshsales and Odoo ERP Self Hosted

First, create an API key for Freshsales and Odoo ERP Self Hosted. To do so, fplow these steps. Log into your Freshsales account and go to Settings > Security Settings > API Keys . Create a new API key with the name eposerver . Copy the API key from Freshsales and paste it in a text file.

Next, go to your Odoo ERP Server admin conspe and navigate to Settings > Authentication . Click the Add button and create a new application with the name Freshsales . Under Token Generation, choose Refresh token model. Also, select all the other fields except for the Access Token field. Save the settings by clicking Save Changes . In the next screen, copy the API key value generated in step 4 and paste it in a text file.

Step 2 - Configure Webhook in Freshsales and Odoo ERP Self Hosted

Now configure webhook in Freshsales and Odoo ERP Self Hosted. For the webhook to work correctly, you need to know the endpoint URL of your Odoo ERP Server instance. To know your server endpoint URL, fplow these steps. Log into your Odoo ERP Server admin conspe and navigate to Settings > Webhook . Copy your server endpoint URL from here and paste it in a text file.

Now configure webhook in Freshsales. To do so, fplow these steps. Log into your Freshsales account and go to Settings > Webhooks . Click the Add webhook button. Under the Event drop down menu, choose Push Notification . Under Trigger URL , type in your Odoo ERP Server endpoint URL fplowed by /api/v1/webhook . Also, copy the API key value you generated earlier and paste it in the API Key field. Save the changes by clicking Save Changes .

Next, configure webhook in Odoo ERP Self Hosted. To do so, fplow these steps. Navigate to Settings > Webhook in your Odoo ERP Server admin conspe. Copy your server endpoint URL from here. Navigate to Settings > Webhooks in your Odoo ERP Server admin conspe again. Paste this URL under Trigger URL . Also, copy the API key value you generated earlier and paste it in the API Key field. Save the changes by clicking Save Changes .

Note. If you want to test that everything is working properly, you can try sending a message from Freshsales to your Odoo ERP Server instance by clicking Send Message (from admin home page.
