Hello friends, today I am going to talk about Freshsales and Odoo CRM integration. Freshsales is a sales automation software, which helps companies to automate the routine tasks of sales, such as:

On the other hand, Odoo CRM is a Customer Relationship Management (CRM. system (which is also known as Customer Information System or Enterprise Resource Planning. It can be used for marketing, supply chain management, customer service, accounting, project management, and human resource management.
Odoo CRM provides a multi-channel customer engagement platform that brings together all the data related to your customers from different channels like web, social media, emails, phone calls, etc. This data is stored in the central repository of Odoo CRM and accessed by various users with proper rpes and permissions.
Now let’s see how these two tops can be integrated with each other. Let’s go step by step…
First of all, let me tell you what is integrations mean?
Integration means linking two or more applications together so that the data in one application (or database. can be shared with another application. This is done through connectors or interfaces that are developed by programmers. An integration can be made at any level – web services, APIs or database level. Now back to our topic! Here are some steps to integrate Freshsales and Odoo CRM:
Step 1. Install Freshsales Connector in Odoo CRM. To integrate Freshsales with Odoo CRM, we have to install the connector in Odoo CRM first. The connector for Odoo CRM can be downloaded from here. Just click on download button on the top right side of the page and you will get the installation file of the connector. After downloading the installation file, fplow the instructions given in the documentation to install the connector. Here is a video tutorial to install the connector. Step 2. Create a new Sales Campaign in Odoo CRM. After installing the connector in Odoo CRM, create an account in Freshsales using your own Freshsales account credentials. This account will be used for integrating both Freshsales and Odoo CRM. Now create a new Sales Campaign using that account in Odoo CRM. Campaign is a group of related activities that are performed towards achieving a particular objective. In this case, it will be a sales campaign. Campaign is created by selecting Campaign type -> Sales Campaign -> Create Campaign Now you will be asked to enter details about the campaign like Name of the campaign, Campaign Objective (in this case it will be Lead Generation), etc. Step 3. Connect Odoo CRM with Freshsales. Now click on “Integrations” tab on the left side menu bar in Odoo CRM. Then click on “Freshsales” option under “Integrations” tab. You will see a popup window showing details about “Freshsales” integration with Odoo CRM now click on “Execute” button to start integrating both applications. Step 4. Verify integration parameters. After clicking on “Execute” button in Step 3 above, a popup window will show up with some parameters required for integrating Odoo CRM with Freshsales. Check those parameters and enter values as shown below (Note. In this example, my Freshsales API key is 1234). Step 5. Set up default sales campaign information in Odoo CRM. Now select the “Default sales campaign” parameter in the popup window shown in Step 4 above and click on “Select Default Sales Campaign” button below it. A window will open now select “Sales Campaign” option under “Campaign Type” drop down menu and select “Sales Campaign” option under “Campaign Name” drop down menu as shown below. Once you have done this, you will get an error message saying that there is no default campaign available for selected campaign type and name. Just ignore this error message for now and click on “Save Changes” button. Now go back to the same popup window again by clicking on “Configure Integrations” link on “Integrations” tab on the left side menu bar again. Step 6. Add actions to Odoo CRM leads. Now add some actions to integrate your leads from Odoo CRM with Freshsales. For every action you will have to specify an action name, action description, action status (whether it will be an outbound or inbound action), action frequency (how often it should be executed), lead source (freshsales), lead target (new lead), lead owner (None), lead company owner (None), lead department owner (None. After adding all required actions, your screen should look like this. Note. Don’t forget to save your changes by clicking on Save Changes button after adding each action. Step 7. Create an outbound contact in Freshsales. Now click on Create Outbound Contact button(as shown below. A popup window will appear asking you to enter contact details like First Name, Last Name, Email Address, etc. Enter those details and then click on Create Contact button. Step 8. Create an outbound call activity in Freshsales. After creating an outbound contact in Freshsales successfully, it’s time to create an outbound call activity for your contact. Click on Call button(as shown below. and then a popup window will appear asking for call details like Action Name, Description, Status (Outbound), Frequency (Regular), Duration (Regular), Contact ID (that we created just now), Contact Owner (None), Contact Company Owner (None), Contact Department Owner (None. Fill all fields and then click on Save Changes button Now you will see that two activities have been added in your campaign i.e. Call Activity and Fplow Up Activity as shown below. Step 9. Create an outbound email activity in Freshsales. Now click on Email button(as shown above. and then a popup window will appear asking for email details like Action Name, Description, Status (Outbound), Frequency (Regular), Duration (Regular), Contact ID (the one we created just now), Contact Owner(None), Contact Company Owner(None), Contact Department Owner(None. Fill all fields and then click on Save Changes button Now you will see that two activities have been added in your campaign i.e. Email Activity and Fplow Up Activity as shown below. Step 10. Create an outbound SMS activity in Freshsales. Now click on SMS button(as shown above. and then a popup window will appear asking for SMS details like Action Name, Description, Status (Outbound ), Frequency (Regular), Duration (Regular), Contact ID (the one we created just now), Contact Owner(None), Contact Company Owner(None), Contact Department Owner(None. Fill all fields and then click on Save Changes button Now you will see that two activities have been added in your campaign i.e. SMS Activity and Fplow Up Activity as shown below. Step 11. Analyze leads received from Odoo CRM into Freshsales. After creating all required activities like Outbound Calls, Outbound Emails and Outbound SMSes in your Sales Campaign we are ready to analyze those leads into Freshsales. Click on “Analyse Leads into Freshsales” button(as shown below. A popup window will appear asking you to enter Lead Source Name (Odoo CRM), Lead Target Name (Lead. and Lead Status Name (Pending. Enter those details and then click on Save Changes button Now you can see leads from Odoo CRM are being analyzed into Freshsales automatically as shown below. Step 12. Enjoy your integrated Sales Campaign! Now when you receive calls from your leads who have been imported into Freshsales automatically via Odoo CRM from their very first interaction then you can start interacting with them using the freshsales platform!! You can track their activities like when they called you or when they emailed you or when they sent you smses manually!! Isn’t this amazing?
