It is a great top for sales people as it helps them to keep a track of their sales performance and to keep them informed about their prospects and customers. Freshsales has a beautiful user interface and it is very easy to use.

CloudTalk?

CloudTalk is a chat platform designed for businesses. It is a cloud-based software which helps teams to communicate with each other. Companies can use it as a standalone top or integrate it with other applications. It works on the cloud and it is available as a web app. It also supports mobile devices. Companies can use it as a communication channel among employees or they can set up a private chat room for internal communication only.

Integration of Freshsales and CloudTalk

Freshsales is a sales top and it helps sales people to manage their sales pipeline and retain their customers. It also helps them to make more sales by keeping them informed about their prospects and customers. Freshsales is a great top for sales people but if you want the team members of the sales department to cplaborate with each other then you need to integrate it with some other communication top. CloudTalk is a great option because it also helps the team members to cplaborate and it already works with Freshsales. If you integrate CloudTalk with Freshsales then you will be able to:

  • Share your contact information with your team members. When you add someone as a contact in Freshsales then he/she will also become a contact in CloudTalk. Your team members will be able to send messages to each other through this channel.
  • Add your contacts as teammates in Freshsales via CloudTalk so that they can see your activity feed and all of your activities related to Salesforce. Also, they can see your Salesforce records such as Leads, Contacts, Accounts and Opportunities. They can even take actions on those records like creating an Opportunity from a Lead and assigning it to themselves or creating a Contact from an Account or Opportunity and assigning it to someone else.
  • Use the drag and drop feature of CloudTalk to drag and drop Contacts from Freshsales to CloudTalk channel and vice versa. This way you can drag and drop any Contact from Freshsales channel to CloudTalk channel and vice versa. You can also drag and drop any record from Freshsales channel to CloudTalk channel and vice versa. This makes CloudTalk more useful for the team members because they can get notifications whenever there are any changes in any Salesforce record associated with the contact. For example, if you assign an Opportunity to your teammate then he/she will get notifications about that via CloudTalk where he/she can take appropriate actions like updating his/her status on the opportunity etc.
  • Set up private channels for internal communication only to prevent your customer data getting leaked outside the company. Your team members won’t be able to see any customer data if you set up private channels for them because they won’t be able to access any Channel Settings page where the Customer Data section is located. So, the only way they will be able to access customer data is via API methods. For example, they will be able to access API methods like API_CUSTOMER_GET_CHANNEL_USERS, API_CUSTOMER_GET_CHANNEL_USERS or API_CUSTOMER_CREATE_CHANNEL_USER etc. If you don’t want them to see your customer data then you can set up private channels for them so that they will only be able to access API methods related to API_CUSTOMER_GET_CHANNEL_USERS or API_CUSTOMER_CREATE_CHANNEL_USER etc. If you also want to prevent them from accessing API methods then you should not share API keys with them either because API keys are used in API methods like API_CUSTOMER_GET_CHANNEL_USERS or API_CUSTOMER_CREATE_CHANNEL_USER etc., which your team members will be able to access if they have API keys. To prevent them from accessing API keys too then you should set up separate API keys for each team member in Freshsales which he/she will be able to use when invoking API methods like API_CUSTOMER_GET_CHANNEL_USERS or API_CUSTOMER_CREATE_CHANNEL_USER etc.
  • Communicate with each other in real time by using message channels. The message channels are very much similar to Chatter in Salesforce where you can create different channels for different topics so that your team members can discuss about those topics in real time instead of sending emails back and forth in reply to each other’s emails. For example, if your sales team is working on multiple projects in different industries then you can create separate message channels for each industry. Then your team members will discuss about the projects related to each industry in separate message channels which will make their discussion more efficient because it allows all team members to join the discussion at the same time instead of each one of them joining discussion at different times when they get an email from another team member about some topic related to some project in some industry etc. Now, we will learn how we can integrate Freshsales and CloudTalk using Appy Pie Connect and how we can set up private channels for internal communication only using Appy Pie Connect and how we can set up private channels for internal communication only using Appy Pie Connect:

Step 1. Log into your Freshsales account here. https://freshsales.com/pricing/. Then log into your Appy Pie Connect account here. https://Appy Pie Connect.com/.

Step 2. Click on the “Connects” tab on the right-hand side of your screen and click on “Create Connects” button at the top right corner of your screen next to “Connects” tab:
