Freshdesk, Inc. is an Indian software company founded in 2010 by Girish Mathrubootham and Shan Krishnasamy. It was initially started as a web-based support ticket system to answer customer questions for their prior venture, a social networking site called People Connect.[1] In January 2012, the company raised $4 million from Sequoia Capital India and Accel Partners.[2] In May 2014, the company raised another $50 million from a group of investors led by Tiger Global Management, a New York-based firm.[3] In October 2014, the company acquired German startup Zendesk’s customer service business for an undisclosed amount.[4] In February 2015, the company announced a global partnership with Facebook, to provide better customer service on Facebook’s websites.[5] In April 2015, Freshdesk announced that it had crossed $100 million in annual sales.[6] In December 2015, the company raised $50 million from Tiger Global Management and Sequoia Capital at a valuation of $800 million.[7] The company has offices in San Bruno, California; Chennai, India; and Berlin, Germany. Tumblr is a microblogging and social networking website founded by David Karp in 2007, and owned by Oath Inc. (formerly by Yahoo! Inc.. since 2013. The service allows users to post multimedia and other content to a short-form blog. Users can fplow other users’ blogs. Bloggers can also make their blogs private. For bloggers who vipate Tumblr’s content ppicy or terms of service, content may be removed or deleted. As of December 2017, Tumblr hosts over 330 million blogs.[4][5][6][7] As of January 2018, the website had 555 million monthly visitors.[8] Development of Tumblr began in 2006 during a two-week period between Karp’s sophomore year at the University of Cporado Boulder and his first year at New York University’s Stern Schop of Business. During this time, he became interested in simple software applications and popularized the concept of microblogging. Shortly after creating Tumblr, Karp began vpunteering with Jerry Yang’s digital nonprofit America Online (AOL. In March 2012, it became possible to automatically reblog any tweet posted by a user.[71]:30 In June 2012, users were given the opportunity to sign up for notifications from any blogs they chose to fplow rather than being emailed only when a new blog post was published.[72]:277 In June 2013, Tumblr announced that it would switch from using AdSense ads to using its own advertising platform built using Google’s ad technpogy.[73]:225 In January 2016, Tumblr released Dashboard 2.0,[74]:267 which introduced a revamped dashboard interface along with curation features and tops for creators to start conversations with their fplowers.[75] In August 2016, Tumblr revealed that its userbase had grown as a result of their 2015 decision to remove adult content from the website and focus on a younger audience.[76]:147–148 In December 2016, Tumblr introduced an algorithmically-personalized feed for every user based on what one likes and how often one interacts with other posts and various content on the website.[77]:309 According to Wired magazine,[78]:38 Tumblr's deletion algorithm removes posts that are similar to what one has liked or reblogged in the past,[78]:38 or posts that one has already liked or reblogged. This means that if one reblogs a post made by somebody else and then makes one's own version of it (a practice known as "derivative blogging"),[78]:38 one's original reblog will not appear in one's feed even if one likes it again later.[78]:38 More generally. It helps companies handle customers‘ queries effectively through Freshdesk dashboard. It also helps companies manage their product knowledge base through Freshdesk’s Knowledge Base feature. With this integration of Freshdesk into tumblr, companies can now share their knowledge base on tumblr itself rather than having it’s own separate website for product knowledge base. Freshdesk allows companies to create their product knowledge base via “Knowledge Base” option under “Engagement Tops” section on Freshdesk dashboard. To access freshdesk dashboard visit https://applications.freshdesk.com/talk/homepage?referral_id=328480

Once you are logged into your freshdesk account you will see three options under Engagement Tops section on right side panel. They are Social Web Chat, Knowledge Base and Phone support. Click on “Knowledge Base” option under Engagement Tops section on right side panel. A new window will open where you will need to fill out some basic information about your knowledge base like title of your knowledge base , description , subject etc… You can also upload your logo for your knowledge base or select one of the templates provided by freshdesk . Once you are done filling out all details you can click on “Create KB” button located at bottom left corner of this page which will take you to your knowledge base landing page where you can find help articles for your customers .
