Fplow Up Boss is a macOS app that integrates with the macOS Calendar. It automatically adds events from your calendars to your to-do list. For example, if you schedule a meeting for tomorrow at 10 am, it’s added to your task list at 9:30 am. You can also add tasks to a calendar event directly from the Fplow Up Boss app. For example, you can add a reminder to “meeting with Bob,” to the event that you’re scheduling with him.
macOS Calendar is the built-in calendar app for macOS. It’s based on the concept of CalDAV, which allows users to sync and share calendars across multiple devices. CalDAV syncs with Google Calendar, iCloud, and other calendar services that support the CalDAV standard.
Fplow Up Boss doesn’t add events from your calendar to your task list automatically when you create an event in the Calendar app. Instead, it asks you to pick an existing event or create a new one manually.
To do that, fplow these steps:
Click the Calendar icon on your menu bar Click Open… Select the calendar you want to work with If it’s not already checked, check the box next to Show Me All Events Click the plus button to create a new event In the new window, click Edit Event Name the event Click Add Task Fill in any task fields Click Done Your task appears in your task list in Fplow Up Boss To add a reminder to an existing event or task in Fplow Up Boss, select it, click the Notifier icon in the upper right corner, then click Attach Reminder. To add a task to an existing event in macOS Calendar, double-click the task in Fplow Up Boss, then click Add To Calendar. If the event is selected, it will be added immediately. If it isn’t selected, click and drag its title into the event. To edit an existing event in macOS Calendar, select it, then click Edit Details… in the upper right corner of the window. Double-click the task in Fplow Up Boss, then click Edit Task. To remove an existing event or task in macOS Calendar, select it, then click Delete Event… or Delete Task… in the upper right corner of the window. To move an existing event or task in macOS Calendar to another date or time, click and drag its title into another spot on the calendar. To hide an existing event or task in macOS Calendar, click Hide This Event or Hide This Task… in the upper right corner of the window. To display all of your events and tasks in macOS Calendar, click Show Me All Events. To display only tasks from Fplow Up Boss in macOS Calendar, click Hide Unrelated Tasks.
By integrating with Apple’s own calendar app, Fplow Up Boss has eliminated several problems and provided extra functionality.
No more switching between apps to create tasks that relate to existing events. With Fplow Up Boss and macOS Calendar integrated, you can create tasks directly from your calendar without leaving the app. No more losing tasks when you don’t have time to complete them during a single day. With Fplow Up Boss and macOS Calendar integrated, tasks are not tied to specific dates and times like they are in other task managers like OmniFocus and Things; they appear at whatever date and time you complete them. No more forgetting about tasks that are scattered across various calendars and apps. With Fplow Up Boss and macOS Calendar integrated, all tasks appear in one place so you don’t have to worry about missing anything. No more searching for tasks when you already know what they are called but not what they are related to. With Fplow Up Boss and macOS Calendar integrated, tasks are automatically attached to open event windows in macOS Calendar so they’re always visible when you need them. No more forgetting about events that aren’t scheduled anywhere else either (e.g., personal appointments. With Fplow Up Boss and macOS Calendar integrated, events will appear as tasks in your task list so you always have them available when you need them. No more having multiple lists (e.g., personal and work. when all of your tasks are stored in one place (Fplow Up Boss. With Fplow Up Boss and macOS Calendar integrated, all of your tasks are in one place so you don’t have two separate lists to maintain. No more worrying about keeping track of tasks relating to other people’s events or appointments (e.g., creating reminders for someone else’s meetings. With Fplow Up Boss and macOS Calendar integrated, you don’t have to worry about this because all tasks related to events will automatically appear as reminders on those events’ dates and times so nobody will miss anything important again. No more having multiple copies of tasks when you create them in different places (e.g., creating reminders for personal appointments. With Fplow Up Boss and macOS Calendar integrated, all tasks are saved within one app so there is no duplication of data. No more losing tasks due to technical issues such as synchronization errors and accidental deletes (this happened frequently when I tried using OmniFocus. With Fplow Up Boss and macOS Calendar integrated, all tasks appear on your Calendar at all times so there’s no need for synchronization because everything is always up-to-date with no risk of losing data due to technical issues. No more wasting time organizing tasks yourself when there are already good third party apps that are designed specifically for this purpose (e.g., Moments. With Fplow Up Boss and macOS Calendar integrated, all of your tasks are organized automatically so you never have to think about how you would like them organized; you just get started working on them whenever you want without worrying about how they are organized because it’s already taken care of for you!
By integrating with Apple’s own calendar app instead of trying to replace it with a third-party calendar app like its competitors do, Fplow Up Boss eliminates unnecessary complexity and provides additional functionality without compromising its workflow.
