All new filters will be automatically generated from the current settings. The filter’s name will be the same as the one you created.
You can also manually create a filter via the Filter By Connect app. Select the content you want to filter out from the drop-down menu, then click the “Add to Existing Filter” button. This will automatically create a filter with the same name and settings as your existing filter in the Filter By Connect Dashboard.
To edit your filter, select the filter you want to edit and click the “Edit” button. The “Edit” button is only visible for filters that are active and have been previously saved.
You can remove your filter from the list by clicking the “Delete” button. Your filter will still remain in the Filter By Connect Dashboard. To revert all your changes to your live website, click the “Reset” button.
Shopify stores use a variation of HTML called Liquid, which is a template language that contrps how content appears on your site. It’s because of this that some shopify themes do not support all filters. To find out if your store supports filters, simply add a new filter and see if it appears in the list of filters. If it does, great! If not, there is nothing we can do about it.
