You just need to insert a filter step in your Connect and you direct the Connect to go through only if your trigger data matches your defined criteria. It is especially a great option for e-commerce businesses when they want to add customers to a specific marketing list and notify the team on Slack or other team collaboration channels to take further action. Our filters work as traffic signals, enabling you to run or stop “Connect” based on specific conditions. When you use our filters smartly as a part of your business process, it can increase productivity and bringing about an order in the processes. You can integrate Filter by Appy Pie Connect with your favorite apps such as Google Sheets, Gmail, Slack, Trello, Calendly, Shopify, Pipedrive, Facebook Lead Ads, and more.
A filter is a conditional action that will execute a rule when the condition of the filter has been matched. Filters address business process rules such as "If, when an email is received, the FROM field 'appypie.com', then take this next action (download it to Google Drive)", or "If data arrived with dates in January, then process Calendar”. If your items don’t meet your filter criteria, then no further actions are performed. This Filter by Appy Pie Connect will make your workflow more precise and clear. At Appy Pie Connect, the process of setting filters is simple. After you have added a Trigger to your “Connect”, click on the plus sign in the left-hand menu where you want to add the filter, and you are done.
Appy Pie Connect brings together Triggers (like "New Email") and Actions (like "Filter Recipients") to complete an action in one app whenever a trigger occurs in another. This phenomenon is called “Connect” and these ‘Connects’ help you automate repetitive tasks saving you the trouble of doing them manually.
Set up rules to specify when this Connect can continue running

Note: Filter by Connect is an intermediary app that can help to refine your Connect. Thus, you will need a Trigger event app and an Action event app between which the Filter by Connect can work.
Select the different fields and set the conditions as per the requirement of your app. You can choose the options from the dropdown menu under fields, Enter the details in:
AND
This can be used for more than one filter on Trigger app events. Multiple Filters can be used parallely using AND on Trigger event app data.
OR
To make the filter work on either of the conditions, you can use OR. Different conditions can be set using OR to work on data available in the Trigger event app.
