Integration of Facebook Page and Shopify

You can link your Facebook Page to your Shopify store in order to drive sales, increase engagement among your audience, improve brand awareness, and promote your products. By linking your Page to Shopify, visitors can easily purchase your products directly through your Facebook Page or Shopify website. When linking your Page to Shopify, you must first create an e-commerce account in order to complete the integration process. To do this, log into your Facebook account and go to the “Settings” menu located in the upper right hand corner of your screen. Click “Apps” in the left-hand cpumn and select “Create New App” from the drop down menu. Once your app is created, you will be able to link it with your Shopify store. Next go to “Settings” in the upper right hand corner of your screen and select “Shopify Apps” from the drop down menu located in the “Settings” cpumn. Click “Apps” located in the cpumn on the left-hand side of the screen and click “Add a New App” located at the top of the cpumn. Select “Website with Shopify” from the drop down menu and click “Continue” located in the bottom right hand corner of the screen. Next you will be asked to enter your Shopify URL into the box provided. Enter your URL into the box provided and click “Continue” located in the bottom right hand corner of the screen. Once you have entered your URL into this box you will be asked to enter your app's domain name into another box provided. You should enter your website's domain name into this box instead of entering your Facebook page URL. Click “Continue” located in the bottom right hand corner of the screen after you have entered your website's domain name into this box. This should take you to a page telling you that your app has been successfully created. You will also receive an email confirming this action as well as an invitation to claim your app so it can be shown on your Facebook page. Your app will not appear on your page until you claim it so click “Claim App” located in the upper right hand corner of your screen next to your app's name and click "Yes" located in the pop up box that appears once you click "Claim App". Now that you have claimed your app you will be taken back to settings where you will be able to edit information such as display name, description, logo etc. Make sure you fill out this information before continuing because this is important information needed in order to link your Shopify store with Facebook Page. Next you will be taken back to Shopify where you will be asked if you want to make this app visible to others on Facebook and if so, what kind of access they will have (Read Only or Read and Write. Simply select either Read Only or Read and Write depending on what permissions you would like users to have on Facebook and click “Continue” located in the bottom right hand corner of the screen when finished selecting permissions for users on Facebook. Next you will be taken back to Facebook where you can add a post introducing your new app and inviting fans to like it by clicking “Post” located in the top right hand corner of the screen which typically appears as a grey arrow pointing downwards towards a white circle with a green plus sign inside it. Write a brief description about why you think fans should like your new app by clicking “Write Something” located below "Post" at the top of your screen. Now that you have written about why fans should like your new app click "Post" located in the top right hand corner of your screen which typically appears as a grey arrow pointing downwards towards a white circle with a green plus sign inside it again. Once you have posted about why fans should like your new app click “Done” located in the top right hand corner of your screen which typically appears as a grey arrow pointing downwards towards a white circle with a green plus sign inside it once more. You should see a pop up box asking if want to publish this post immediately or schedule it for publication later. Select “Publish Immediately” from this drop down menu and click “Done” located in the top right hand corner of this pop up box one more time when done selecting whether or not you want to publish this post immediately or schedule it for publication later on. Once you have published this post on Facebook's News Feed page simply go back to Shopify and select “Link Storefronts” from the drop down menu located in the upper left hand corner of your screen under "Shopify Apps" and click “Authorize this app” located at the top right hand corner of the screen once you have selected "Link Storefronts".
