Facebook Page is a free service provided by Facebook. It allows users to create their own fan page where they can publish posts related to their business or products in order to attract more fplowers. Basecamp 3 is an online project management software developed by 37signals. It allows the users to organize projects, tasks and files into project boards. These two services are integrated with each other so that users are able to view Facebook Page activity from within Basecamp 3.
First of all, create a project via Basecamp 3. Click on the “create project” button under the “projects” tab on the top right corner. Then you will be asked to input some information about your project such as name and project description. Finally, click the “save” button to save your project.
Create a task within the project you have created. To do this, click on the “tasks” tab on the left side of your screen. Then, create a new task by clicking on the “new task” button on the top right corner of your screen. When creating your task, put some details about your task in its description box such as name and description, deadline date, assignees and priority level. After filling in all information for your task, click on the “save” button.
Now you have your project created and a task within it has been created. Now you want to post something related to the task from your Facebook Page. To do this, go to “Pages” tab on the left side of your screen. Select your page from the list of pages, and then click on the “create outbox post” button right below it. You will be asked to input some details about your post such as title and description, as well as an image or video that will accompany your post. Click “Save” when you finish filling in all information required by this page. Finally, you will see your outbox post on your Facebook Page like any other post you have published. You may edit this post by clicking on the pencil icon next to it like any other post before saving it to your Facebook Page. This way, you can easily share any updates or news related to your task with your fplowers via Facebook Page.
The integration of Facebook Page with Basecamp 3 has many benefits for users. First of all, users can see their outbox post on Facebook Page directly from within Basecamp 3 so that they may update their fplowers without having to check their Facebook Page manually every time they want to post something new in their social media platforms. Also, they can post updates on Facebook Page directly from within Basecamp 3 instead of having to log into their Facebook account every time they want to update something on their Facebook Page. Furthermore, users can easily manage both social media platforms from one place with ease because they don’t need to log into two different accounts anymore to manage their updates or status on both social media platforms anymore. However, there are also some problems associated with the integration of Facebook Page and Basecamp 3 as well which we describe below:
When you try to share a link from your Facebook Page using the “sharing buttons” function in Basecamp 3, it will automatically add a comment that says “via <your page name>.” This is a problem because people who visit our page won’t know where we actually shared that link from unless they pay attention to that comment or they already fplow us in Facebook or Twitter (which is unlikely since most of them don’t fplow us. So we should not use this sharing feature at all because it makes us look unprofessional or amateurish while sharing links from our page. Instead we should use another method like pasting the link in our status box instead of using these sharing buttons because it does not add any unnecessary comments that might confuse our readers when they visit our site from Facebook Page or from our linked site.
When you try to post an image along with text in a single post on Facebook Page using the “share this” button within Basecamp 3, you will not be able to attach more than one picture along with a text/caption underneath it in one post because this function only allows you to upload one file at a time. So if you want to upload more than one image along with caption in one post, you need to upload those pictures separately as standalone images first and then attach them together using another program on your computer before uploading them again in one single post on your page using the “share this” button again in Basecamp 3. Also, you need to make sure that all images uploaded are under the default maximum image size allowed by Facebook (1280×720. or else you may receive an error message that informs you that one or more images uploaded cannot be displayed due to its size. If this happens, you need to reduce the size of those images first before uploading them again for them to be displayed properly in your social media platform.
In conclusion, we see that although there are some limitations or problems when integrating Facebook Page with Basecamp 3 there are still many reasons why we should integrate these two services together because it saves us a lot of work and time when we are updating both social media platforms at once.
