Facebook Messenger is an instant messaging service that was launched in August 2011. • Integrate with social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and Instagram. Integration with social media platforms would allow customers to share photos of themselves wearing or using products they have purchased so that friends who visit their social media platforms see what they bought and may decide to buy something similar for themselves. This form of word-of-mouth marketing could help drive sales for both companies—Easyship and the merchant selling the product—especially if customers are posting pictures of themselves enjoying products together with friends or family members who are not buying anything from either company because they are not shown in the pictures. This form of word-of-mouth marketing could also boost sales by encouraging customers who aren’t friends on social media platforms to become friends just so that they can share pictures of themselves using products they have purchased online rather than in person with people they know in real life.
