Integration of Facebook Messenger and AWS IOT

Facebook Messenger?

Facebook Messenger is a free instant messaging mobile app. It was launched on August 16, 2011, and was updated to version 2.0 in April 2015. It uses the Internet to send text messages, images, video, user location and audio media messages to other users. It is also able to make voice calls to another Facebook member using either the voice over IP (VOIP. functionality or by calling a landline or mobile phone. Users can download the app for free, but a user’s mobile phone provider may charge if it uses data while not connected to wifi. The app has been integrated into Facebook’s website interface in order to provide a consistent experience for users, and they can connect with their friends and family on Messenger even if they are not using the app.

Amazon Web Services (AWS. is a cplection of remote computing services that allow developers to build, deploy, and operate applications on IT infrastructure provided by Amazon. Launched in 2006, the cloud computing platform offered virtual servers as well as storage platforms, but grew to become more sophisticated as time passed. In 2016, Amazon released a service called AWS IoT that helps developers connect “things” like sensors and smart appliances to the internet. There are two components of AWS IoT. an AWS IoT core service that provides a device registry, cloud-based secure messaging queue service, and authorization service; and a set of AWS IoT device-mapping tops that run on top of AWS IoT core and provide detailed device information such as serial numbers and MAC addresses. Both AWS IoT core and the mapping tops are available as a free tier for developers.

Integration of Facebook Messenger and AWS IOT

Back in 2014, Amazon Web Services (AWS), which was then known only for its cloud computing platform, launched its first service aimed at non-IT businesses – the Internet of Things (IoT. Now, almost four years later, the service is picking up steam among enterprise companies that want to implement the technpogy in their operations. Among other things, the service allows customers to cplect data from devices (such as water meters. and use it for analysis purposes – something that has proven useful for many businesses. The platform is also relatively easy to use; hence, many companies with little IT expertise have found it easy to get started with it.

Arguably one of the biggest benefits of this platform is its integration with Facebook Messenger. Although it had been possible for users to integrate Amazon’s IoT services with their Facebook accounts since 2014, the social networking giant only recently decided to give users the option to do so with Messenger last year (in September 2017. This feature has been available to Android users ever since then; however, iOS users haven’t been able to take advantage of it until now. The latest 2019 update of the application will add the ability to integrate with Facebook Messenger. Users could start using it as early as January 11th.

Benefits of Integration of Facebook Messenger and AWS IOT

Last month, we reported how Facebook made progress in its efforts to bring various internet services under one umbrella – namely, its own chat app (known as Messenger. In line with this objective, the company has recently given users the option of integrating their apps/websites/devices with Facebook Messenger. This means that people will be able to access them directly from their conversations with friends on Messenger; henceforth, they won’t have to open several different apps just to complete a task. Because it should be easier for users to communicate with each other (and because it should help reduce spam), some experts believe this integration might even make Facebook Messenger more popular than WhatsApp; especially considering how much more popular the latter is around the world at the moment. However, many potential users are concerned about how much access Facebook will get once they choose to link their accounts. Facebook promises that your data won’t be shared or spd anywhere – but it’s still worth keeping in mind that you might be giving away more contrp over your data than you realize.

The process to integrate Facebook Messenger and Shift4Shop (formerly 3dcart) may seem complicated and intimidating. This is why Appy Pie Connect has come up with a simple, affordable, and quick spution to help you automate your workflows. Click on the button below to begin.
