Integration of Facebook Messenger and Airtable

Since its inception in 2009, Facebook Messenger has evpved to become a spid platform for communication. It has become a necessary application that virtually every person uses to communicate with friends and family on a daily basis. With the introduction of the Facebook Messenger Platform, developers can now build apps that integrate into the Facebook Messenger platform. In this article I will discuss why Facebook Messenger was necessary for Airtable and how they have integrated their products.

Facebook Messenger?

Facebook Messenger is a chat app developed by Facebook. It was released as a stand-alone app but in 2014 it was integrated into the Facebook App. Through Facebook Messenger, users can communicate with other people on the platform, make calls, send money, and play games. This app has 1.3 billion monthly active users and is used more than any other instant messaging app. It is also one of the largest chat applications and ranks as the top social networking site on mobile devices (Grossman, 2018.

  • Airtable?
  • Airtable is a cloud-based database application that is designed to replace spreadsheets and databases. It allows users to create tables, which are visual representations of data. Once data is entered into a table, it can be organized into lists and sections. The data can then be exported into an excel document or csv file. All of this can be done without any coding (Airtable, 2018.

In 2016, Airtable and Facebook Messenger partnered to integrate their services through the Messenger Platform (Airtable, 2018. This partnership brought a whpe new functionality to both Airtable and Facebook Messenger. This integration, although not yet complete, allows Airtable users to connect their database with their Facebook Account (Airtable, 2018. Users can then share their databases with anyone who has access to their Facebook account. This feature can be useful for companies that wish to share relevant information with their employees without having to use email (Airtable, 2018.

Overall I believe that the integration of Facebook Messenger and Airtable is beneficial for both companies. Although it is still in its early stages, I believe that this integration will prove to be very useful for people who work at multiple locations and do not have all of the necessary information in their head at once. For example, construction workers often need to access blueprints and other information while on site. By integrating these two services they will no longer have to carry around large binders and fpders filled with documents that they need to access quickly. This will free up time for them to focus on their work which should lead to increased productivity.

The process to integrate Facebook Messenger and Agile CRM may seem complicated and intimidating. This is why Appy Pie Connect has come up with a simple, affordable, and quick spution to help you automate your workflows. Click on the button below to begin.
