In order to set up Facebook Lead Ads, you first need to have a Facebook page. Then, go to the Facebook page and navigate to the “Create an ad” button on the right hand menu, fplowed by “Lead Ad” in the drop-down menu. After that, you will be given two options. “Website conversions” or “Lead ads”. Choose “Lead Ads” for this guide.
Choose which type of ad you would like to create. For example, if you want to drive traffic to your landing page for Thinkific, choose the second option. This will then be fplowed by two more options, which are “Custom Audience” and “Website conversions”. Choose the second option again. It will then be fplowed by three different options. “Set up Lead Ads”, “Create new lead ad”, and “View ads”. Click “Set up Lead ads” for this guide.
After choosing “Set up Lead ads”, you will be given an option to choose which features you would like to use. Once you have filled out all of the information, click on “Create Lead Ad” again. Now you will see your ad on the left side of your screen. Click on this ad to get more information on how it looks on Facebook after it has been created. You will see small previews of how your ad will look when it appears in front of your audience on Facebook. Once you are satisfied with how your ad looks, click on “Publish Ad” at the top right corner of the page. Your ad will now be live on Facebook! You can now set up Lead Ads in Thinkific! Navigate to Thinkific and click on the “Conversions” tab at the top of the screen next to “Memberships” and “Course Management”. First choose which type of conversion you want to set up for this guide. We will choose “Lead Ad” for this guide because we want to attract leads into our email list via our Facebook page. Choose if you want to create it for a specific course or if you would like to add it as a default setting for all courses in Thinkific. If you choose the latter option, fill out all of the required information including.
