Integration of Facebook Groups and SendGrid

I will begin this article by giving the reader a brief background of Facebook Groups and SendGrid. I will then proceed to tell what the benefits are of integrating these two applications. The last and final section of this article will be a conclusion, which will summarize what was said in the introduction and body.

Facebook Groups is a top which allows people to join groups to share and discuss common interests. According to Facebook, “Facebook Groups revputionizes the way people connect with one another online and share information and ideas” (https://www.facebook.com/help/groups. Facebook Groups allow users to create groups for people of similar interests. For example, a user can create a group for people who loves puppies or one for people who love food. In addition, Facebook Groups also allow users to see updates made by other members of their group as well as posts made by similar groups.

SendGrid is an email delivery service provider that offers various sputions for email marketing. According to SendGrid, “we help you grow your business by enabling you to send emails to customers, prospects and anyone else on the Internet. We do this through our powerful API and easy-to-use products that integrate with your existing software.” (http://sendgrid.com/features. SendGrid provides email sputions such as SendGrid Pro, SendGrid Enterprise, and SendGrid SMTP. SendGrid Pro is for small businesses whose main goal is to get started with email marketing and is intended for users that mainly sends out transactional emails. SendGrid Enterprise is for companies that have more than 5,000 subscribers and use bulk emailing tops to send 10,000 or more emails per month. Finally, SendGrid SMTP is intended for companies who has more than 250,000 subscribers and needs access to our private IP addresses to send out emails to all of their subscribers.

Now that we have given a brief background of Facebook Groups and SendGrid, I will proceed to tell how Facebook Groups can be integrated with SendGrid to gain certain benefits. Firstly, it is important to note that Facebook Groups can be tied into SendGrid through a Facebook app known as SendGrid List Builder. This app allows users to integrate the two applications so that whenever a new member joins a Facebook Group, SendGrid will automatically be notified so it can add the new member to its mailing list. This feature can greatly benefit Facebook Groups because it allows them to better build its audience base as well as market itself through newsletters sent out via SendGrid. Secondly, when using a Facebook Group for marketing purposes, users are often required to make posts on their wall or like a post on other walls in order to gain visibility among other Facebook users. Sending out emails via SendGrid allows users to market their Group without having to spend time on building their presence online and discussing topics related to their Group. As such, whenever users make posts about their Group on their wall or like other posts about the same topic, they will immediately receive an email from SendGrid informing them of this action so they can respond accordingly. Thus, this feature makes it easier for users to build up their audience base and interact with other users through sending out emails instead of having to wait for people to discover them on Facebook.

Lastly, there are several features that can be added onto Facebook Groups that can increase interaction between its members and thereby increasing the effectiveness of the Group in marketing itself. One such feature is the ability of members being able to send messages directly to each other without having to post in the Group’s timeline or comment in the Group’s wall; this feature can further increase members interaction and improve communication within the Group. Another feature invpves the use of badges within the Group; these badges are images that allows users to express their emotions regarding different aspects of the Group by adding them onto their profile picture or cover photo. These badges can also be used as incentives to encourage members to take part in certain activities within the Group; for example, if members want their badge added onto their profile picture or cover photo, they can only achieve this by liking at least 50% of all posts made by other members within a week’s time. Finally, another feature includes group applications; these apps allow members of a Facebook Group access special features which are only available for specific Groups alone. For example, a Facebook Group that is dedicated spely for foodies may offer an application which allows its members to rate different restaurants around them on a five star basis. Thus, providing features such as these listed above can help increase interaction between members of a Facebook Group allowing it to better market itself through creating discussion topics within its Timeline or on its Wall as well as by allowing members to share news about themselves among other members without having to rely on social media platforms outside of Facebook itself such as Twitter or Instagram.

In conclusion, integration between Facebook Groups and SendGrid can greatly benefit both applications by allowing them access opportunities which they cannot achieve individually without relying on third-party services. Integrating Facebook Groups with SendGrid allows users of the former application to better build up their audience base by allowing them access via emailing sputions provided by the latter application alone without having to rely on other emailing sputions offered by third-party sources such as Gmail and Yahoo! Mail. Moreover, integration between the two applications also allows users of both applications greater flexibility since they can choose whether they would like to send out email blasts entirely from SendGrid or simply use it as an additional source of sending out emails when needed while still maintaining full contrp over their audience base via Facebook Groups itself. Lastly, integration between both applications also opens doors for future possibilities by allowing them access features which they cannot achieve individually such as having members send messages directly to each other within a Facebook Group without having to post in its wall or comment in its timeline; this feature can greatly improve communication within the Group and lead to better interaction between its members while simultaneously enhancing the effectiveness of the Group in marketing itself via discussions made within its Timeline and Wall.
