I will begin my argument by defining Evernote and Zendesk Sell. Evernote is a cloud-based service that allows users to capture, store and sync notes across multiple devices. It was founded in 2007 and has its headquarters in Redwood City, California. In 2013, Evernote had over 100 million users including businesses. Zendesk Sell is a software-as-a-service (SaaS. company that provides customers with a platform for selling products via chat and email. It was founded in 2007 and has its headquarters in San Francisco, California. Zendesk Sell is also available on iOS and Android. The integration of Evernote and Zendesk Sell can be beneficial to business owners. I have decided to focus on the fplowing benefits:

Integration of Evernote and Zendesk Sell would allow business owners to more effectively organize their sales activities. Business owners would be able to save notes they find while working on other projects into Evernote in order to use them later on as part of their sales activities. They would also be able to create notebooks for specific types of sales activities such as creating a prospecting notebook for sales calls or a product development notebook for preparing proposals. Business owners would be able to use those notebooks as part of their sales activities once they are ready. Business owners can also use Evernote to gather materials they need while doing research while they are not physically at work. They can then use their smart phones to scan the materials they need while on the go, saving them time and money. Integration of Evernote and Zendesk Sell would also allow business owners to track their sales activities in one centralized location that is easily accessible from anywhere. Business owners would be able to create notes about the progress of their sales activities in Evernote and then share those notes with their team members so that everyone will be updated about the status of each project. Business owners would also be able to see how many leads they have sent out and how many calls they have made in a given period of time with Evernote’s reporting feature. This data can help business owners figure out how they can improve their sales process.
