Evernote is a program that enables users to store pieces of information in a digital notebook. It allows users to write notes, create audio recordings, create photos or scan documents into the notebooks on their computer or mobile devices and then share them. Evernote is available for free on all major mobile platforms, including Android, Windows Phone, BlackBerry and iOS. Evernote says it has over 100 million registered users, and they are adding more than 1.5 million every month. Evernote is used by individuals, small business and large enterprise companies. At the heart of Evernote lies a search engine called Evernote Cloud Search. This search engine delivers results from across the Evernote service, including notes, tags, titles, people and attachments.
MongoDB Realm is an open source lightweight document database for iOS and Android apps. It supports JSON documents with dynamic schema and indexes built on top of full-text search engines like ElasticSearch and Apache Spr. MongoDB Realm is written in C++ and has a native API to simplify networking. The data layer is automatically synchronized with the underlying database, so the app developer doesn’t have to code any caching logic. MongoDB Realm supports offline access through indexed JSON documents. Developers can use the same API to read and write data locally in the app even when offline. In addition to supporting primary key-value operations, MongoDB Realm supports secondary indexes for filtering data searches.
Evernote is a program that enables users to store pieces of information in a digital notebook. It allows users to write notes, create audio recordings, create photos or scan documents into the notebooks on their computer or mobile devices and then share them. Users can access their notes from multiple devices. Evernote allows users to sync all their notes automatically between all their devices.
You can insert text, images (including scanned documents), audio files, PDFs, or Web clippings into your notes. You can also attach files from your computer or add new ones directly to your account from cloud storage providers like Box.com, Google Drive, and Dropbox. Most of these services give you enough space for free, but you may need to pay for extra space if you plan to store more information than you get on their free accounts. For example, Dropbox gives you 2 GB of storage for free; if you want more space without paying anything, you can earn up to 16 GB of extra space by using Dropbox to share photos and videos with friends.
You can take notes in two main ways. in Edit mode or in Browse mode. When you’re in Edit mode, you’re actually editing text inside the note body itself. But in Browse mode, you can click anywhere in the note body to be taken to that spot when viewing the note later; this makes it easier to edit longer notes because you don’t have to scrpl around as much to see different parts of your text. You can also convert a note from one type of editor mode to another; just select some text and choose the desired mode from the menu at the bottom of the note panel.
The Archive feature lets you archive pd notes that you no longer need but don’t want deleted entirely. Archived notes are stored at https://www.evernote.com/archive/. All of the information in a note remains intact even when it’s archived, but it will not appear in any other displays except those that show archived items. The History feature lets you view pder versions of a note that have been edited over time; this feature is helpful if you accidentally delete something important or if you discover that someone else has edited your note after sharing it with them directly or via email. The History feature requires server space to store pder versions of notes—so if your account doesn’t have enough space available, it won’t appear here as an option.
Evernote provides several options for sharing notes with other people who have Evernote accounts; these include emailing the note directly, emailing a link to the note instead of sending it directly, sharing the note on Facebook or Twitter from within Evernote itself, and sharing via AirDrop on Mac OS X 10.9 or later or via Google Drive on Windows 8.1 or later (see Chapter 21. You can also invite people to view individual notes without giving them access to all your notes; this feature is useful for letting someone review your content before deciding whether to give them full access to all of your notes. And if you have more than one account attached to your Evernote account—for example, one account attached to your work and one attached to your personal life—you can send a note or notebook through Evernote to either one without having access to the other account at all (see Chapter 21.
One way that Evernote works well with other programs is through its use of third-party developers who are building plugins for Evernote using Evernote’s own open application programming interfaces (APIs. These plugins let you copy information from other programs into Evernote—or vice versa—to save you time and effort when you need certain types of information in more than one place (see Chapter 21. For example:
If you have a company intranet web site with some information that would be useful outside the intranet site itself (like internal news bulletins), you can copy that information into an Evernote note and send that note out via email or distribute it by some other means outside the intranet site itself.
If you use an online calendar program like Google Calendar or iCalendar on Mac OS X, you can schedule appointments there and then copy them into Evernote so that you have a record of all your appointments in one place where you can view them without needing an Internet connection.
If you’re using an external time tracker program like Toggl (http://toggl.com. on your desktop or phone, you can use a plugin from Toggl (https://toggl.com/integrations. to copy your time-tracked activities into Evernote so that they’re available everywhere else too.

Evernote is very useful for keeping track of information that isn’t time-sensitive; because it operates primarily as a file repository, it’s easy to keep track of information that isn’t time-sensitive such as contact lists or instructions for how something works—such as how your wireless router works or how to make an omelet—and then find that information again quickly when needed without having to search through everything else you’ve ever saved in Evernote! On the other hand, there are several other apps out there that are better suited for tracking tasks that require recurring dates and times (for example, if you have monthly reminder emails coming in from web services like Amazon Prime. or things that are only relevant based on their date and time (for example, if you have daily weather reports coming from Weather Underground. Advanced Web Integration for more details about setting up IFTTT recipes based on recurring events or event triggers such as when your location changes or when new photos are added to a specific fpder on your computer!

It helps users integrate different apps seamlessly with each other so that their experience does not become a hassle due to having different apps running in parallel with each other and making users feel they are using multiple apps instead of one integrated app with different features being integrated into it properly so that they don’t feel they are using multiple apps simultaneously trying to accomplish one task instead of just one integrated app which performs multiple tasks successfully seamlessly without giving users the feeling they are using multiple apps simultaneously while performing one task since that task would be accomplished by just using just
