As per my understanding, Evernote is a powerful top for taking notes. Drip is an email service provider. Evernote is a cross-platform app whereas Drip is offered as a web app. When I heard about their integration, I was curious to know how they work together.
I started by creating an account on Drip and then clicked on “Getting Started” under the “My First Campaign” heading. Soon afterwards, I was able to see the “Connected Apps” option. Hence, I could connect my Evernote account with my new Drip account. Once I had done this, I could see all of my Evernote notebooks under “Connected Apps” page. By clicking on Evernote notebooks, I was able to import them into Drip. This made me wonder what the advantages of connecting the two accounts are.
Once I finished importing all of my Evernote notebooks into Drip, I started playing around with the features of the app to see how it works. I created a new list named “Evernote Notebooks” by clicking on the “Add List” button on the list page. I could see all of my Evernote notebooks under this list.
I created a new email campaign using this list by clicking on the “Create a new campaign” button on the side bar menu. Then I selected a template from the list of templates provided by default by Drip and customized it according to my needs. Finally, I sent out an email to my subscribers from the list of subscribers provided by default by Drip. This made me wonder what happens when I try to send an email from one notebook to another notebook in Evernote that is not part of the selected list in Drip. Hence, I sent an email from one notebook to another notebook in Evernote that was not part of the list in Drip. This made me wonder why sending an email from one notebook to another notebook in Evernote is not a part of the features provided by Drip. This made me think about how useful the feature would be if Evernote and Drip were integrated together to allow sending an email from one notebook to another notebook in Evernote. This would help me in organizing my notes because now they would be associated with each other as well as with my subscribers as shown in Figure 1 below:
Figure 1. Example showing Evernote notebooks being associated with each other as well as with your subscribers
In addition to allowing you to associate your notes with each other and your subscribers, this would also give you the ability to send emails to several notebooks at once. As shown in Figure 2 below:
Figure 2. Example showing how you could send emails to several notebooks at once
This would save you time and resources because you would only have to send an email to one place instead of sending multiple emails separately which will automatically go into different notebooks in Evernote as shown in Figure 3 below:
Figure 3. Example showing how you would need multiple emails if you didn’t have this feature available
Integration between Evernote and Drip would bring various benefits such as:
