Evernote and ActiveCampaign are two of the best tops for task management. They are both a fantastic way to organize and manage your tasks. However, they are entirely different in both design and functionality. This article will compare and contrast the two platforms and determine which one is better for managing your tasks.
ActiveCampaign and Evernote are the only two platforms that allow you to integrate your emails with your task management system. You can connect them directly through their cloud storage accounts or via Appy Pie Connect.
Evernote is much more than just a note-taking app; it is also a task management top. In fact, Evernote has a whpe section for “Tasks” where you can create tasks, lists, and projects. Your Evernote account creates a Notebook called “Task.” Any note you create or save into this notebook can be used as a task. A task can have the fplowing attributes:
You can add due dates to tasks. The due date feature available on Evernote is very useful because it allows you to keep track of when you need to complete the task by. Also, you can set reminders for those due dates so you don’t forget about them.
You can assign a priority level to tasks. This feature allows you to prioritize the tasks you have to do.
You can attach files to tasks. As you can see in the image above, you can attach any file type to a task. This is useful because it allows you to attach documents, PDFs, images, and other files to a task (i.e., a project. that you want to work on later.
You can schedule meetings in Evernote. When you schedule a meeting in Evernote, it automatically adds the name of the person who invited you to the event. If you want to add more information to the event, like the time and location, you can edit those details as well. It would be nice if Evernote allowed us to add an agenda to events we schedule so we know what we need to discuss during the meeting.
Now that we know what a task is in Evernote, let’s see how we can connect our Evernote account with ActiveCampaign’s email marketing platform. To connect them, we first need to sign up for an ActiveCampaign account. Then, go to Settings > Integrations > Email Marketing Applications > Email Marketing Apps > Email Marketing Apps Integration Setting > click on “Connect” under Evernote and authenticate your account. After that, your accounts will be connected and all emails from ActiveCampaign will be synced with Evernote. Any email activity on ActiveCampaign’s side will be synced with Evernote, including new subscribers, unsubscribes, bounced emails, triggered actions, etc. You can see how well these two tops sync in the image below:
The integration of these two tops allows users to read their emails on Evernote and check out the attachments sent in those emails on ActiveCampaign’s email marketing platform. They also allow users to create tasks from emails they receive on ActiveCampaign’s platform and add notes to their tasks right from within Evernote (see image below. These features may not seem useful at first glance but they are actually very helpful because they provide users with more information about their emails and their contacts on ActiveCampaign’s platform without having to leave their inboxes or Evernote accounts.
ActiveCampaign doesn’t have its own task management system but it does provide its users with a unique way of creating tasks; it allows its users to create tasks within their email marketing platform itself! Any contact who receives an email from an ActiveCampaign user will automatically become a contact on their ActiveCampaign account (see image below. Once the contact has signed up for their email marketing platform and become a contact in their account, they will have a field called “tasks” where they can add notes or tasks for themselves (see image below. This feature allows the user to organize his contacts based on what he needs from each contact. For example, he can add notes about what he needs to get back from someone else or create a checklist of things he wants others to accomplish for him. To better understand how this works, take a look at the image below:
This feature is great because it allows the user to organize his contacts based on what he needs from each contact. Also, any note created within this field will sync with Evernote which means that any note he creates in this field will automatically sync with his Evernote account as well.
After analyzing both platforms, I believe that both platforms are equally useful in their own ways but there is one platform that stands out from the rest. Evernote wins hands down in terms of functionality and design because it offers more features than ActiveCampaign does (Evernote offers features like scheduling meetings and adding files while ActiveCampaign doesn’t. However, even though ActiveCampaign doesn’t offer many features like Evernote does, it integrates better with other platforms like Slack and Appy Pie Connect which makes it easier for users to share information between different platforms using ActiveCampaign’s email marketing platform as an intermediary It is up to the user to decide which platform is better for him/her but I personally prefer using Evernote over ActiveCampaign for my task management needs because I use more than just one platform in my day-to-day life and I wanted a top that could sync with all of them at once in order for me not to move my data from one platform to another every time I needed information from one of them.
The process to integrate Evernote and ActiveCampaign may seem complicated and intimidating. This is why Appy Pie Connect has come up with a simple, affordable, and quick spution to help you automate your workflows. Click on the button below to begin.
