There are many reasons why companies choose to integrate their Evernote Business accounts with other applications via Webhooks by Connect, but there are three main reasons. 1. cost savings, 2. more efficient workflow, and 3. improved productivity for employees. Let us explore each of these reasons further:
Cost Savings – You might be wondering how integrating an application with Evernote Business could save money for your company. First, if you share a lot of notes with multiple people and/or use a lot of storage space on your current Evernote Business plan, then integrating an application with your business account could allow you to save money because companies hosting their own data on their own servers pay less than individuals who pay for individual plans from Evernote. Also, if a third-party application integrates with your business account, then you don’t have to pay for an additional subscription or license for each employee that uses the third-party app (e.g., Slack. Finally, if your company is using an pder version of Evernote, then integrating an application with your business account could allow you to save money because hosting your own data on your own servers costs less than paying for individual subscriptions or licenses from previous versions of Evernote Personal or Plus plans. More efficient Workflow – Integrating applications with your business account can help improve group communication because it makes it easier for people to access information while they are working from home or from outside offices (e.g., Starbucks. It also helps some teams work more efficiently because it allows them to quickly view notes and files without having to go through email or other communication channels (e.g., Slack. Improved Productivity for Employees – Integrating applications with your business account helps employees be more productive because it gives them quicker access to all of their important notes and files so they don’t have to sift through emails or check several different places to find what they need during work hours (e.g., Slack. It also allows them to focus on their work instead of worrying about what they need to do when they get home because they know exactly where all of their information is stored (e.g., Slack.
