The purpose of this paper is to explore the idea of integrating event management software with project management software. I have chosen Eventbrite for this assignment because it is one of the most popular event management websites in the world. It helps event organizers keep track of all the details that are invpved in planning an event. Daylite will be used to demonstrate how this integration can be accomplished.

I have found that there are many events that people organize. There are companies, non-profit organizations, clubs, and even individuals who want to organize certain events depending on the reason they are organizing it. The special events that are organized are then categorized into different types of events. For example, there are business conferences, seminars, concerts, weddings, parties, family reunions, charity events, etc.

The process of organizing an event does not end with just organizing it. Once the event is organized it requires an enormous amount of planning. The planning for the event includes choosing a venue or location for the event, putting together a budget for the event, advertising the event, deciding the theme of the event, inviting guests to the event, choosing what food to serve at the event, deciding what decorations should be used at the event, arranging transportation for guests to get to and from the event, etc. The list of items that need to be planned for an event goes on and on.

Event organizers can find themselves overwhelmed trying to manage all these different tasks. It is very easy for them to lose track of what needs to be accomplished and when it needs to be done by.
