Integration of Etsy and Google Ads

Etsy is an online marketplace where people sell handmade goods, vintage items, and supplies to other people. It was founded in 2005 in Brooklyn, New York by Rob Kalin and Haim Schoppik. The company has since expanded internationally to encompass over 1 million sellers from 20 different countries. In 2014, Etsy reported that it spd over $1 billion worth of goods from its community of individuals. In addition to the sales of its sellers, Etsy makes money by taking a 3.5% cut of every purchase made through Etsy. The marketplace also charges listing fees for each item that is listed on its website.

Google Ads

Google Ads is a pay-per-click advertising service created by Google Inc. It enables businesses to create advertisements that run on Google’s search engine, as well as in its advertising network. These ads appear over the top of search results when the user searches for a related keyword. The advertisements are text-based and can be targeted to reach those who have searched for specific keywords. Users can set up advertisements to run based on their budget, what they are trying to advertise, how much they are willing to spend per click, and how many times they want their ad to show up per day. When a user clicks on one of these ads, the advertiser pays for that click based on the amount they bid for the keyword and the maximum cost per click they have set up.

Integration of Etsy and Google Ads

Google Ads provides a variety of ways of customizing ads to meet a business’s needs based on the information they provide about their product or service, pricing structure, and target audience. For example, a toy store would likely only want to promote their toys on Google Ads during the hpiday season when toy sales are high. Google Ads also allows users to track if their ads have been effective through Google Analytics. This tracking allows users to see where their customers are coming from and how many people were redirected from their website after clicking on their ad. In order to make sure that the ads are reaching the correct target audience, Google Ads allows users to segment their data into audiences such as gender and age brackets. Google Ads also makes it easy for users to connect with customers through email marketing or phone calls by providing a call extension feature that allows users to display a phone number through their ad. This feature, like all of Google Ads’ features, is customizable so that users can choose which phone number is displayed and what time zone it will be displayed in. The integration of Google Ads and Etsy allows these two companies to reach out to new customers while cutting costs by allowing them to work together instead of separately.

Integration of Etsy and Google Ads

Benefits of Integration of Etsy and Google Ads

Google Ads offers free basic tops for creating an account and launching an ad campaign. However, some advanced features require payment and/or upgrades. For example, tracking tops such as Google Analytics are free but require a business to upgrade their account in order to use them. Another example is call extensions which are free if they are used with a paid ad campaign but require an upgrade if they are used with a free ad campaign. Etsy provides similar services for a fee on its website, however Etsy does not provide the same level of tracking or customization as Google Ads does. In addition, because Etsy does not charge a flat rate per click, setting up an ad campaign with Etsy is significantly more expensive than it would be with Google Ads. In addition to paying less for ads than Etsy does, Google Ads provides more customization options for targeting potential customers and allows advertisers to track how effective their ad campaigns have been compared to other ad campaigns on the platform.
