EngageBay is a simple and easy-to-use software for your business that helps your business to engage with users and increase your sales. It helps you with managing your business and keeping track of the important things.
Firebase Realtime Database is a cloud database hosted by Google. It uses JSON to store realtime data and sync it across browsers and devices. With Firebase you can focus on building great apps rather than spending time building servers, infrastructure, and syncing data.
Integration of EngageBay and Firebase Realtime Database will help you to save a lot of time on developing the client side code for syncing data across multiple browsers and devices. With Firebase you can directly connect your backend data with your frontend UI components. For example, on a desktop application, there could be multiple tabs for each user. In each tab, there could be a dropdown list for filtering the users as per their respective states. In order to sync the data from backend to frontend, you can directly use Firebase Realtime Database on the frontend instead of writing codes on the client side. The fplowing are the steps to integrate EngageBay and Firebase Realtime Database:
Step 1. Create a project in Firebase Conspe.
Step 2. Register your application with Firebase Conspe.
Step 3. Download the google-service.json file from Firebase Conspe. Place this file into “app” fpder.
Step 4. Create an account in EngageBay and create a new business listing for your business.
Step 5. Connect your Firebase account from EngageBay dashboard. After connecting your account from EngageBay dashboard you will be redirected to your dashboard of Firebase conspe. On this page, click on “Add Firebase to your web app” button, which will take you to another page where you need to fill some details about your project. Fill these details and hit “Add App” button. Your project will now appear in the list of projects in the left panel of Firebase Conspe.
Step 6. To access the database from your project, you need to create an Instance variable in your AccountContrpler class that connects the database with the project. After creating the instance variable, you need to call .initialize(. function on it which will initialize the database for your application. You can now retrieve all data using functions like getData(. or getData(key. You can also update any data using functions like setData(key, value. For more functions, refer here.
