To discuss the integration of EngageBay and Patreon, I will be defining both EngageBay and Patreon. EngageBay is a social media platform that allows viewers to support content creators through subscriptions, tips, and gifts. It allows content creators to receive money for the content they put out. Patreon is a platform for supporting artists of all kinds through monthly pledges. Patreon gives content creators a way to get paid regularly while interacting with their supporters.
Integrating EngageBay into Patreon would give creators on EngageBay access to a wider audience by bringing them into the Patreon community. Content creators on EngageBay would be able to use their subscribers from EngageBay to grow their fanbase on Patreon while also using their existing patrons on Patreon to grow their audience on EngageBay. This could help them get more subscribers on their channel on EngageBay which could lead to more patrons on their channel on Patreon. They would also be able to better share their content between their two platforms, which would help promote the content creator’s work. If content creators can gain more patrons on Patreon, then this could potentially give them more money to produce more content on EngageBay. Along with this, integrating with Patreon would allow EngageBay creators to have access to the tops offered by Patreon such as fan creation pages and automatic subscription payments.
When integrated, the benefits of having an account on EngageBay and having one on Patreon would be very similar. On either platform, you can post updates about your life or videos that you’ve created or found online. You can also share links to different websites, photos, or videos that you like. The difference between the two platforms would be how you pay your fans. When you are on EngageBay, you can receive tips through tips, subscriptions, and virtual gifts. On Patreon, you receive money in return for your art or any other kind of creation that you create (videos, audio books, music, photography. So when integrated, having an account on both platforms gives you access to multiple ways in which you can make money off of your art/creation. On EngageBay you can get funds from subscriptions and being tipped while on Patreon you can get funds from pledges and donations. This may sound confusing but once you start using both platforms it becomes clear how they work together to support each other.
