  • Amazon Simple Queue Service (Amazon SQS. is a scalable hosted queue for storing messages as they travel between computers. Amazon SQS allows for sending and receiving messages that contain up to 10KB of data per message. Messages stored in an Amazon SQS can be processed in any order. Each message stored in an Amazon SQS must have a unique identifier. When using Amazon SQS, you can choose between two levels of message durability, depending on how important it is for you to retain the messages in the queue even in the event of an outage or service failure. The service provides acknowledgments for every message sent to the queue, and you can specify whether your application sends all messages synchronously or asynchronously.

  • Ecwid has an integration with Amazon SQS. This integration makes it possible to send messages from the Ecwid site to Amazon SQS. It is also possible to receive messages from Amazon SQS to Ecwid.
