It’s a great honor to announce the first ever integration between OpsGenie and eBay. We know that eBay is one of the most popular e-commerce websites. It is an online platform that serves as a meeting place for buyers and sellers from all over the world. You can buy and sell goods using PayPal as a payment option. The website has been launched more than 20 years ago. In April of 1995, Pierre Omidyar founded the company as AuctionWeb. He was an Iranian-American computer programmer and entrepreneur. In September of 1995, the website was renamed to eBay.
In September of 2017, eBay launched a new service which allows customers to receive alerts from eBay through a third party top, such as a monitoring system or a ticketing system. This service is called Webhooks. It allows users to send data from external sources to a web server of their choice. By doing that, it can be integrated with other systems and used for alerting purposes.
OpsGenie is a monitoring top designed for managing alerts and integrating with other platforms by sending alert notifications via email, SMS, voice call, and push notification etc. OpsGenie provides advanced alerting features such as escalation, routing based on tags, filtering out false positives, and much more.
Connect eBay alerts to OpsGenie by using webhooks (web hooks. technpogy.
