Easyship is a shipment company that provides an easy way to ship packages around the world. Easyship was founded by two brothers called Jason and Michael Bayles in 2012. The Bayles brothers created Easyship based on their own experiences with shipping international packages. It was not easy for them to shop from outside of the U.S. so they wanted to provide a service that would make it easier to shop from anywhere. In this paper, I will explain how Easyship integrates with PagerDuty for easier shipping and tracking of packages.
PagerDuty is a software that monitors servers and other infrastructure elements. If there is a problem with any element it sends a notification via a page or a text message to a person who is responsible for fixing the issue. PagerDuty has a feature that allows Easyship to integrate with it. This integration allows PagerDuty to automatically track the location of shipments from Easyship and notify users when there is a problem with a shipment.
In order to integrate Easyship and PagerDuty, a user needs to log into both accounts using the same e-mail address. Once logged in, a user then chooses which notifications he/she wants to receive from each account. For example, a user may want to receive a notification when a package is shipped but does not want to be notified when an order is placed. A notification can be sent via text message or email depending on the preference of the user. Once notifications are set up, PagerDuty can track shipments from Easyship and alert users when there is an issue with the shipment.
The integration of Easyship and PagerDuty makes it easier for users to track shipments and helps prevent mistakes due to human error. For example, if an employee did not check the status of a package, they would get a notification from PagerDuty telling them that the package has been delayed. This way, they would know right away if there was an issue with the package instead of waiting for someone else to tell them there was an issue with the shipment. This makes it easier for companies to keep track of all their shipments and make sure everything goes according to plan.
