Integration of Easyship and Alegra

The Easyship is a shipping platform that enables the user to ship the items with ease. It acts as a marketplace where the sellers can list their products and the buyers can buy the products. The buyer makes the payment using the payment gateway provided by Easyship. The seller ships the product to the address given by the buyer. The buyer receives the product in his/her address. This is just like an online shopping platform for the sellers and the buyers, but the difference is that here the seller has to ship the product while in other platforms, the seller will only deliver the product to the customer’s address.

The Alegra is another shipping platform which provides shipment tracking features. The user will get updates about his/her shipment at every step of the process, i.e., when the item is shipped, when it is delivered, etc.

Easyship and Alegra can be integrated in many ways. The integration of these two platforms will benefit both the users of these platforms.

The integration of Easyship and Alegra will enable the users of these platforms to get updates about their shipment at every stage of shipping process. For example, if you are selling your product on Amazon FBA, you will get emails from Amazon telling you whether your product has been shipped or not. But these emails do not tell you when exactly your product has been shipped or when it will reach its destination. It takes days to reach its destination and in these days you cannot know whether your product has been shipped or not. Here comes Alegra in. Alegra will send a notification to your phone when your product has been shipped and when it reaches its destination. For example, Amazon FBA does not provide any option to add any additional information about your product when they ship it to their warehouse. In case you want to add some information about your product, once Amazon ships your product to their warehouse, you have to contact them and ask them to add this information in their system. But if you use Easyship and Alegra, you can add any additional information about your product before shipping it to Amazon FBA. For example, if you want to add some details about your product such as how much it weighs or what language is printed on your product, then you can add this information before shipping it to Amazon FBA using Easyship and Alegra. This way, Amazon will receive all required details about your product since they will not bother you further after receiving your product at their warehouse.

Easyship and Alegra can be integrated in terms of user interface too. While creating a new shipment on Easyship, you can mention that you want to ship this particular item using Alegra so that it will be tracked during shipping process using Alegra. This way, whenever you create a shipment through Easyship, it will be tracked on Alegra as well. You can integrate Easyship and Alegra using APIs as well.
