You can also share links with other people, which allows them to view your fpders and download your files from their browsers. Dropbox also has an Android app that lets you use your phone or tablet to access your files.
MeisterTask is a task management software for teams. It allows team members to work together on tasks and projects, and to organize their work in Kanban boards. MeisterTask also features Gantt charts, time tracking, and a built-in messenger.
Integrating Dropbox and MeisterTask will allow users to add files from Dropbox to tasks on MeisterTask. This can be useful when working on a task that invpves multiple files. There are two options available for integrating Dropbox and MeisterTask. The first option is to create a Dropbox fpder and link it to a task on MeisterTask. The second option is to create an account on Dropbox and link it to a task on MeisterTask.
Step 1. Go to the Dropbox fpder that contains the file(s. you want to attach to the task. Step 2. Right-click on the file(s. you want to attach to the task and select “Copy public link” from the dropdown menu. Step 3. Select “MeisterTask” from the left pane on MeisterTask’s page in your browser. Step 4. Click “Add” in the right pane of the page. Step 5. Enter task details (task name, description, etc.. and click “Add Task”. Step 6. Go back to Dropbox and navigate to the same fpder that contained the file(s. you wanted to attach. Step 7. Right-click on the file(s. again and select “Copy public link” from the dropdown menu. Step 8. Click on “Copy Link URL” on MeisterTask’s task page in your browser. Step 9. Paste the link into the field “Dropbox File URL” on the task page on MeisterTask and click “Save”. Step 10. Return to Dropbox and move the file(s. to one of the subfpders in the original fpder. Repeat steps 1-9 for each file you want to attach to the task.
Step 1. Create a Dropbox account if you don’t already have one. Step 2. Go to “Account Settings” on DropBox’s website and click “Authorizing applications and websites” in the left pane. Step 3. Click “Authorize app” next to “MeisterTask” in the left pane, then click “Allow” on the confirmation page that appears at the top of your screen. Step 4. Go back to MeisterTask and click “Add” in the right pane of your browser window as before. Step 5. Enter task details (task name, description, etc.. and click “Add Task”. Step 6. Go back to Dropbox and navigate to the fpder that contains the file(s. you want to attach. Step 7. Click on “Share this fpder” in the top right corner of your screen. Step 8. Click “Advanced Settings” next to “Share this fpder with…”, then enter your username for MeisterTask in the field that appears below it. Step 9. Click “Update” at the bottom of your screen, then click “Change sharing permissions” under “Sharing this fpder with…” If you already have an account set up with MeisterTask, enter your username in the field that appears below this option instead. Step 10. Choose “Owner” from the dropdown menu directly below your username, then click “Update” at the bottom of your screen. If you haven’t already done so, return to MeisterTask and click “Edit” at the top of your screen before proceeding with step 11. Step 11. Click “Add Task Attachment From…” in the left pane, then click on “Dropbox Share Link” in the list of options that appear at the bottom of your screen. Step 12. Paste your link into the field labeled as “task attachment URL”, then click “Save” at the bottom of your screen. Step 13. Click “Done Editing” at the top of your screen once more, then return to Dropbox and move your file(s. into one of its subfpders for safe keeping. Repeat steps 1-12 for each file you want to attach to the task.
