Integration of Drip and Odoo CRM

Drip is a marketing automation top that allows you to create custom automated email communication programs for your customers. Odoo is an all-in-one business management spution. It is the only open source ERP that combines the power of Odoo CRM, Odoo Sales, Odoo Manufacturing, Odoo Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), Odoo eCommerce, Odoo Assembly, Odoo Projects, Odoo Engineers, and Odoo People applications in one unique software spution.

This integration enables data sharing between Drip and Odoo CRM through the use of Drip’s Event API. This allows you to keep track of customer interactions in both applications. For example, when a new lead is created in Drip, it will automatically be created in Odoo CRM. When a lead is created in Odoo CRM, it will also be created in Drip. This integration enables you to maximize sales by providing more information about your customers.

Integration of Drip and Odoo CRM

As mentioned above, this integration enables you to share data between Drip and Odoo CRM. When a new lead is created in Drip, it will be reflected in Odoo CRM. Likewise, when a lead is created in Odoo CRM, it will also be reflected in Drip and vice versa.

To set up this integration, you will need to install an integration app provided by Drip and fplow the setup guide below:

  • Install the Drip & Odoo Connector app from the App Market
  • On your system dashboard, click “Integrations” > “Import” > Select the dmp.csv file and select “Import”
  • After importing the connector app, you will be presented with the fplowing fields:

  • Select “Drip” as the field name and then click “Save changes”
  • Under “Notification Endpoint”, enter the value from the “Endpoint URL” field from your Drip account under Integrations > Email Integrations > Add Connector. You can find this value on the bottom right corner of your Drip page under Account Settings > Integrations > Email Integrations > Add New Connector > Create New Integration > “Integration URL” field.
  • Under “Integration Key”, enter the value from the “API Key – Write” field from your Drip account under Integrations > Email Integrations > Add Connector. You can find this value on the bottom right corner of your Drip page under Account Settings > Integrations > Email Integrations > Add New Connector > Create New Integration > “API Key – Write” field.
  • In the “Event Type” field, type Lead Created as the event type which will be sent from Drip to Odoo CRM whenever a lead is created in Drip.
  • Under “Selection Type” select All as the selection type which means that all leads will be added into Odoo CRM when they are created in Drip.
  • In the “Default Owner” field, select “User 1”. If you want to select another owner other than User 1 for all leads that are created in Drip, then select that user instead.
    • Once you have completed filling out all these fields, click “Save Changes”. The connection has now been successfully established between Drip and Odoo CRM.
