Integration of Drift and Zendesk

Drift

Drift is a top for companies to help them market and engage with their customers on social media. It allows companies to set up automated messages to be sent out when a customer interacts with the message. Zendesk is an online support ticketing software. It allows companies to handle incoming messages from customers by creating a custom support site for them.

Integration of Drift and Zendesk

This section will discuss how Drift and Zendesk integrate together. Before we take a look at how they integrate, it is important to understand that setting up this integration requires some knowledge in web development. This is because you will have to create a custom integration between Zendesk and your Drift account. Once you have set up the integration, here are some benefits to using this integration:

  • Support Ticket Integration. Both companies allow you to send and receive messages through the other’s system. You can send messages from Drift directly into one of your Zendesk channels and vice versa. This way, you can respond to incoming messages directly from Zendesk. You can also copy messages from Zendesk and post them to a channel in your Drift account.
  • User Segmentation. After setting up this integration, you will be able to segment your subscribers into Zendesk. In other words, you can choose to send messages to different groups of individuals depending on what they do within the system or when they sign up for your service. For example, if you have two different services you are running, you could send messages about one product in your service as a welcome message. If that subscriber takes an action with one of the products, you could then send them a message about the other product.
  • Automated Workflows. Both systems offer the same functionality for automated workflows. The main difference between the two is that Drift has an option for “Smart Templates” whereas Zendesk does not. A smart template allows you to make a template which changes based on the user’s actions within the system. This way, parts of your template will change based on what they do. For example, if someone signs up for your service, you could have a template which says something like “Welcome to Company X! We are excited that you are part of our community!” Then, after they sign up, you could have another part of the template come up which says “We know that you have been struggling with [insert issue here]. Here is how we can help!” You are able to do this by using smart templates within Drift. By contrast, Zendesk does not have this option available so you would either have to make multiple templates or use the same template but make changes manually every time someone does something different within the system.
  • Message Templates. Both services offer a similar set of message templates for email and social media campaigns. One thing that goes in favor of Drift is that they offer live chat and sms templates whereas Zendesk does not. This gives you more flexibility because you can use these templates for phone calls, emails, live chats and sms messages. With Zendesk, you can only use their templates for emails and social media posts. However, even though Zendesk does not offer live chat or sms message templates, it does offer a top called “Chatbird” which makes it easy to integrate your live chat service with Zendesk without any setup or configuration on your end. When using Chatbird, all incoming messages will appear as tickets in your Zendesk account just like any other message would. This is great because all of your conversations with customers will be centralized in one place instead of being spread across multiple platforms or tops. Furthermore, Chatbird allows you to link multiple accounts and integrate them all into one location (this is especially useful if you have multiple clients. This way, all of your conversations will be centralized in one place and it will be easier to manage your chats because all of them will be organized in one location instead of being spread across different services across the internet. Because both platforms offer similar functionality for messaging templates, we are going to focus on how drag and drop functionality works within each platform and how helpful it is for users trying to design their own templates. Both platforms offer drag and drop functionality which allows users to drag content onto their template and rearrange their layout so that everything looks professional and organized at first glance. However, there are some differences between the two platforms which make it easier for users to design their own templates with Drift than with Zendesk. With Drift, you can easily create a simple template and then add complex elements such as icons or emojis by simply clicking on them and dragging them onto your template (there is no need to download a new piece of software or export files. All of these features are accessible right within the platform itself so you don’t have to switch back and forth between different programs or websites just to get the job done. By contrast, Zendesk makes it difficult for users to customize their templates because they force users to download a new program called “Studio” in order to use advanced features such as adding emojis or buttons into their templates. With “Studio”, users have access to all of these features but they still have difficulty making their templates look professional because there isn’t much room for customization within Studio (you basically have access only to pre-made layouts. This makes it difficult for people who are limited in technical skills because they need more creative freedom in order to make their own templates appear presentable when sending messages out to customers. Another feature that makes it easier for Drift users is that they can create their own templates from scratch (without having to customize pre-made layouts. They can also upload their own graphics from other programs (such as Photoshop. directly into the platform so they don’t have to worry about downloading an image editor or exporting anything from other programs because they can do everything right within the platform itself. By contrast, users with Zendesk cannot upload images directly into the platform (they have to install another program called “Image Builder”. This makes it difficult for users who do not have much experience with design software such as Photoshop or Illustrator because they need more freedom in order to make their templates look professional on first glance (they need more ways to edit their images after uploading them so that they don’t have to rely on pd tops. These limitations make it harder for less experienced designers or marketers who are just starting out with using automation tops like these. Another thing that makes it easier for Drift users is that their platform is designed primarily around automation rather than marketing so they have more customization options available than Zendesk does (because it was designed primarily as a marketing top. For example, Drift offers emojis whereas Zendesk does not offer emojis but only options such as “buttons” or “images” which are often too basic for users who want more freedom when designing their own templates. So overall, Drift offers more freedom than Zendesk when designing your own templates because it gives users more customization options within the platform itself instead of forcing them to rely on external programs or websites where they may be limited in what they can accomplish creatively (this can make it more difficult for less experienced designers or marketers who are just starting out. Another difference between the platforms is how good their layouts look when being used with mobile devices (both platforms offer mobile compatibility so that you can send out messages from your mobile phone. With Zendesk, you must pay extra money for premium features if you want mobile compatibility because otherwise, your message templates will look very unprofessional if you try sending them out from a mobile device since they were designed primarily with desktop computers in mind (the layouts may look bad when being used on mobile. By contrast, Drift allows you to use all of their features even if you do not pay extra money for premium features which means that your message templates will always look professional regardless of what device they are being viewed on (this is because they were designed with mobile devices in mind from the beginning instead of desktop computers. Overall, this versatility makes it easier for users who want mobile compatibility since they don’t have to pay extra money every month just so that their message templates look decent on mobile devices (all of these features are already built into the platform itself so
