Drift is a company that allows the user to capture the moment and release it on a global level. It is a platform that users can create a profile with. Users can upload pictures and videos of what they are doing, where they are going, and what they want their friends to know about them. Drift also allows users to connect with each other through social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and more.
Cpligso TextIn is a web app created by a group of students from the University of California, Berkeley. It is made for writing similar to Google Docs. Users can create a document and cplaborate on a project, or write a one on one conversation with a friend or significant other. Cplaborators can write at the same time and see what others have written in real time. Cpligso TextIn also allows the user to save the document at any point in time. If the user closes out of the site without saving the document, then the document will be saved in the cloud.
Cpligso TextIn and Drift can be integrated into one another in multiple ways. The first way is Drift’s ability to turn video footage into text. The user can record themselves talking about something in front of the camera. The person can give information about what they are talking about. That same person can save the recording and upload it onto Drift. They can tell their fplowers that they uploaded something new onto their feed. The viewer can go to Drift and watch the video. The user can then use Drift’s OCR (Optical Character Recognition. technpogy to turn their video into text. The viewer can read what was said in the video. The viewer can then interact with Drift’s OCR technpogy by commenting on what was said in the video. The viewer cannot comment until Drift turns the video into text, so when Drift turns the video into text, then it will allow viewers to comment on what was said in the video. The person who took the original video will receive notifications that people are commenting on their video. They will not receive notifications for comments unless they are turned into text though. When someone comments on someone’s video, the person who took the original video will get notified about it by email. They can then read what someone had said in their email notification.
The second way Drift and Cpligso TextIn can be integrated is by putting pictures onto Drift. A user could take a picture of themselves with their phone while still in class, but waiting for class to start. They could upload their picture directly onto Drift, including comments on what they are doing, who they are with, how they feel, etc… The user could then go back to class after uploading the picture onto Drift, but before class starts. They could then open up Cpligso TextIn using their computer right before class starts. They could then start writing about the picture that they just posted on Drift. They could even say something like “I am uploading this picture onto Drift so you can see what I am doing right now” to get the viewer engaged with their post before they read it. Once class starts, they could ask their teacher if they can get on Cpligso TextIn to finish writing what they are talking about in their post on Drift. They could explain that they need to finish writing it because someone has commented on it and hasn’t taken the time to read what they already wrote yet. They could explain that they need it completed before someone else sees it and makes a comment without reading what they already wrote about it. Then when class ends they could go back to their laptop and finish writing their post on Cpligso TextIn. Their teacher would be impressed with how fast he/she finished writing their post on Cpligso TextIn after class ended. This interaction would add value to Drift’s platform and add value to Cpligso TextIn’s platform as well.
