Let’s take a look at an example of how Drift and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central can be integrated.

Go to Settings > Account Settings > Integrations in your account. Click Add Integration. Search for "Business Central". Select MS Dynamics 365 Business Central and click Save & Continue. For each business, you'll need to give Drift permission to connect to Microsoft Business Central. This just means creating a security group that grants Drift access to your data. To do this, go to Settings > Security Groups, then click Create Security Group, and enter the information needed to create your group. In the Developer section of your account, select the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central integration. Copy the API key into the API Key field on the MS Dynamics 365 Business Central page. Click Set up and save. Next, copy the API Key into the API Key field on the API Keys page. Click Save. On the API Keys page, click Generate API Key and save it somewhere safe. Finally, expand the app settings for your account, and then click Manage App Connections. Find the connection named MS Dynamics 365 Business Central and click its Edit button. Enter a name for the connection and paste your API Key into the API Key field. Choose a Notification Strategy from the drop-down menu. Click Save changes.

In other words, it allows you to use Drift’s customer lifecycle automation features within your existing Microsoft Business Central environment.
With this integration, any events triggered by your customer lifecycle automation are also pushed into Microsoft Business Central as standard Salesforce alerts (which can then be configured as tasks or cases), allowing you to get more value out of your existing systems with this one integration!
There are many benefits of integrating Drift and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central together.
