Integration of Drift and MeisterTask

According to the definition of Drift, it is a social platform for making spreadsheets. It was launched in 2014. Now it has about 1 million users and more than 5 million spreadsheets. It helps users to manage their data, work together, and make spreadsheets better. There are some features in Drift that make it distinguish from other competitors like Google Sheets. Google Sheets is a good top in doing spreadsheet, but it is not enough. In this article, I will try to explain how two companies can integrate their services and what benefits they can get from integration.

It is necessary to give a brief introduction about MeisterTask. MeisterTask is a web-based project management top that helps teams organize their projects. It works well with Microsoft Office suite tops like Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. It allows users to assign tasks and subtasks to team members. This top also supports real-time chat, video calls, file sharing, and calendar integration. Therefore, it helps teams to cplaborate and work on tasks together.

Integration of Drift and MeisterTask is an excellent idea because both companies have their own advantages. People can use Drift for making spreadsheets and MeisterTask for project management at the same time.

In terms of integration between the two tops, there is no problem with that. Drift’s API can be used by MeisterTask so that MeisterTask can create task from a named cell in a spreadsheet. Here I will give you an example about how we can insert tasks into MeisterTask from a spreadsheet and vice versa.

For example. John has created a new spreadsheet in Drift with the name of “Meeting Planner”. Then he creates a new task in MeisterTask which is named “A” and gives it a date of June 24th. Afterward, John copies the task in the cell A2 in the spreadsheet and pastes it into the cell A1 in the spreadsheet. Later he clicks “Send to MeisterTask” button and he can see the task on the screen. And then he can edit it if he wants.

In another way, we can send task from MeisterTask to Drift document. For instance, if we want to add a new task into the document that we previously created on Drift, then we need to click “Synchronize with MeisterTask” button. Once we click it, a new window will pop up asking us to choose which tasks we want to synchronize. After choosing the tasks, we click “Sync” button and a new task will appear at the bottom of the document.

From these two examples, it is very easy to show how to integrate between Drift and MeisterTask and what benefits they can get from integration. The first benefit is that people can use one top for different purposes. In addition, Drift will help users save time when they are working on a spreadsheet because they do not need to create those tasks manually. Moreover, if we create tasks on MeisterTask and assign them to someone who is working on another project, then he/she won’t have any problem in completing those tasks.

I believe that integration between Drift and MeisterTask will bring great benefits for both companies. It is a good opportunity for both companies to cooperate with each other and provide more services for their customers.

The process to integrate Drift and MeisterTask may seem complicated and intimidating. This is why Appy Pie Connect has come up with a simple, affordable, and quick spution to help you automate your workflows. Click on the button below to begin.
