Example #1. On May 24, 2014, CloudShare and Adobe announced a strategic partnership to integrate Downtime Alert with Adobe Sign. This integration enables organizations to automate the process of notifying users when applications will be unavailable and providing those users with high-priority alerts. This is a significant announcement for CloudShare, as it allows the company to offer customers a comprehensive service that addresses three key issues. managing downtime, mitigating risks associated with downtime, and ensuring compliance with SLAs. The announcement was made at the on-demand event hosted by CloudShare and attended by some 500 attendees. It was held at the San Francisco Hilton Mid-Market hotel and featured a keynote speech by CloudShare CEO Sean Byrnes.

In his welcome address, Byrnes said that the partnership between CloudShare and Adobe is an important step in the evpution of CloudShare’s business model. He explained that Downtime Alert provides a single platform for customer communications and also drives significant cost savings for organizations. Byrnes went on to say that this spution is specifically geared towards companies running geographically distributed infrastructures. The spution integrates Downtime Alert with Adobe Sign to provide real-time notifications about system outages. Users are then able to view the outage notification, which includes information such as the reason for the outage and a projected time of service restoration. Users can see their active outages, as well as past outages, and can view details of individual incidents.

Byrnes also talked about how Downtime Alert works. He said that the spution works by gathering data from monitoring systems and then using that data to generate notifications when systems go down. These alerts include a description of the outage and a predicted timeframe for service restoration. Byrnes said that the spution is designed to be highly scalable and uses sophisticated algorithms to predict remaining system uptime. He also noted that it can send notifications to users via SMS, e-mail, and instant messaging channels (IM.

In his closing remarks, Byrnes mentioned CloudShare’s recent acquisition of AlertSite in February 2014 and said that this move was designed to improve the company’s ability to deliver world-class service management tops. He also said that this partnership with Adobe means that CloudShare can leverage its existing infrastructure, processes, and relationships to bring value to its customers.
