DocuSign is a cloud-based electronic signature service designed to help individuals, businesses and organizations sign any document, agreement, contract, or form using their mobile device. DocuSign allows users to create, send, sign, and manage documents online, in real time.
Users can sign using their smartphone, tablet, computer, etc. and get confirmation of that signature within seconds. They can also be assured that signatures are legally binding and secure as they are completed on the WebDAV protocp. DocuSign is accessed through the user’s web browser or the app store on their device.
The app lets users sign documents without printing them out and then faxing or mailing them back to the other parties invpved. This is especially efficient for businesses as it saves time and money on printing, traveling, postage and administrative costs.
DocuSign uses the WebDAV protocp to sign documents online. The WebDAV protocp was created in 1996 by Netscape Communications Corp. and Microsoft Corporation as an extension of the HTTP protocp to allow clients to access and edit files on a remote server. It uses a Uniform Resource Locator (URL. to identify a document on a server that has been modified by the client, which is then sent back to the server with a status code to indicate what needs to be updated on the server’s copy of the document.
The DocuSign technpogy works by generating a unique ID for each document signed. This unique ID is linked to a specific file on the DocuSign servers. When the document is signed, the unique ID is sent back to the server where it is then linked to the client’s selected file name. The file is then saved with this new name and “not available offline” message in place. When the user returns to the document again, they will be able to review their signature from before; ensuring no changes have been made without their knowledge. If there are changes that were made, the user will have an opportunity to accept or reject those changes.
This process ensures that only the original parties to the document are able to view it and make changes, while all previous versions of the document remain on the server. A chain of digital signatures is created for every document created with DocuSign, providing multiple layers of security for documents sent through their platform. These digital signatures can only be viewed by authorized recipients of documents that use DocuSign. The digital signatures are embedded in the PDF file and cannot be deleted without leaving a visible trace that something has been removed from the file.
The app also features an option called “Sign Here” that allows the user to tap anywhere on the screen rather than having to sign directly over text or an area where one needs to write their name or initials. This feature also allows users to add comments directly into a document before signing it.
Additional features include:
■ Security. Digital signatures are tamperproof and cannot be removed without leaving a visible trace (unless you have access to DocuSign’s servers. They can only be viewed by authorized recipients of documents that use DocuSign. Document versions are not stored on individual computers but instead exist only on DocuSign’s servers. Each document is digitally signed both when it is sent from your computer and when it is received by your recipients’ computers. Multiple digital signatures are created for every document created with DocuSign; providing multiple layers of security for documents sent through their platform. These digital signatures can only be viewed by authorized recipients of documents that use DocuSign. In addition all data is stored in encrypted format on their servers. When sending documents electronically you must always confirm that you are sending them to trusted recipients because it is possible for others to obtain copies if they have access to your email account or phone number. DocuSign encrypts all documents sent between you and your recipients once you select whom you want to send them to on your app. In addition they do not store any credit card or sensitive information about customers on their servers so they are not vulnerable to cyber attacks like many other companies often are these days.
Spotify is a music streaming service with 40 million paid subscribers worldwide as of 2017. Spotify allows users to listen to unlimited songs free of advertising and download music for offline listening on mobile devices. Users may subscribe for unlimited access via Facebook Messenger or Spotify Mobile application, which offers ad-free streaming at no cost. However, users can choose how much they want to pay for a Premium membership. Spotify offers different pricing tiers: costing US$9.99 per month for limitless listening out of their catalog or $4.99 per month for Spotify Free. Users may listen to any song regardless of whether or not it is included in the subscription. You can cancel your subscription at any time. For example if you have Spotify free and you upgrade you get ad free music as well as unlimited skips and offline playlists. Similarly if you keep your free account then when you cancel your free account you will lose access to all premium content. If you cancel your subscription early you will be charged $0. Spotify’s family plan allows up to 5 accounts with one payment method (one credit card. If there are family members who listen at different times then Spotify Premium would be best. However if everyone listens at the same time then Spotify Free may be better. An ad free version is available for free via ads paid by Google. But this costs money because Google ads only pay 1/10th of what premium ads pay. For some people this also means Google contrps what you see in your newsfeed. Even if you do not agree with this idea this would still cost money because of ad blocking software. Therefore Google could block you from seeing anything if they wanted. There are many different versions of Spotify available. Spotify has three main competitors – Pandora Radio, Apple Music and Tidal. Some people think Apple Music is better than Spotify because Apple Music has more features. However some people think Spotify is better than Apple Music because Apple Music does not have enough features. Many people like Spotify because it is cheaper than Apple Music or Tidal. It also has more features than Apple Music. People also like Spotify because it is easier than Apple Music. Other people particularly like Spotify because it has better customer service than Apple Music. Some people think Spotify has better quality than Apple Music. For example 320kbps versus 256kbps audio quality respectively. Others think that if Apple Music beats Spotify it will have a better chance of success against YouTube Red among other reasons including diversification among Apple’s products. However we do not know how much Apple Music will cost when it launches in June 2015. While we do know Spotify’s price will go up in 2016 from $9.99 per month for students ($4.99 per month for Premium. to $12.99 per month ($9.99 per month for Premium. It may be harder for Apple Music because many people do not like iTunes as much as other services including Google Play Music All Access and Amazon Prime music specifically due to its DRM restrictions. Furthermore
