Integration of Discord and Deskpro can be done with the help of the fplowing steps:
The first step will be to register for Discord account. You can do this by visiting discordapp.com/ and filling in their sign up form. After signing up for the account, go to the desktop app you’ve just installed. Then you need to create a new server by clicking on the plus sign. Now add a name for the server, then choose a region. The region should be based on the location of all your members, so they can all stay connected to each other. Then you need to click on the “Create Server” button. Now you have a new server. Add friends to the server by clicking on the plus sign in the bottom right corner, and then adding their username to the search bar. Once you have added your friends, it’s time to create channels. Click on the plus sign again and choose “Create Channel”. This channel should be named after the project you are working on or project which you are going to cplaborate with other people. Now you can start a conversation with your teammates by clicking on the plus icon in the bottom left corner and selecting “Send Message”. After that, type your message and send it by clicking on the blue arrow next to the “Send Message” button. You can also get dialed into a voice call with your teammates or friends by clicking on the plus icon and selecting “Dial”, then entering your friend’s username or number. With these steps, you can communicate with your teammates in real-time, view their status, switch between text chat and voice chat, share links, add images or videos, and mute or unmute yourself. If you want to edit your server, you can do so by clicking on your avatar at the top right corner and choosing “Edit Server”. Here you can change the server name, turn invite links back on, choose who is allowed to post links, etc. You can also delete your server by choosing “Delete Server” here. Now you can use Deskpro to cplaborate with others on projects where they are in different locations than you are. To set up deskpro integration with your Discord server, open Deskpro by clicking on its desktop app icon (or mobile app icon if you are using a mobile device. Then click on “Settings” in the upper right corner, fplowed by “Integration” in the dropdown menu that appears next. On this page, you will find a list of integrations available for Deskpro. Select “Discord” from this list, then click on “Authorize Integration”. You will be prompted to login to your Discord account from there. After that, any messages that are shared in your Discord channel will appear as new messages in DeskPro, along with photos and videos shared in that channel. You also have access to all of these messages from within any of your projects in DeskPro by clicking on the “Chats” tab at the top of your window. Finally, if you would like to remove this integration, simply go back to this same integration page and uncheck “Connect Automatically” before clicking “Disconnect Integration” in the bottom right corner.
