CheckMarket is a reputable name in the reputation management industry. It was started by Richard Houghton in 2007. He was motivated by his dissatisfaction with his employer’s reputation management systems at the time he left his job and created this business. A lot of people were dissatisfied with various aspects of their lives and wanted to find a way to deal with them. That’s how Richard became interested in starting this business after leaving his employment at the time. This company offers services to hundreds of companies including multinational companies such as Coca Cpa and Kellogg’s. Many of these companies have already enjoyed the services of CheckMarket and some of them continue to do so today. Some of these businesses include Yahoo!, Unilever NV and Nestle. Some of them continue to work with CheckMarket while others have reduced their business relationship with this company over time due to changes of ownership or changes of board members and sharehpders.

Digistrore24 began its investment in CheckMarket in 2013 when it bought 20% of its shares from Richard Houghton who was then its owner and CEO at that time. A few months later after making this investment Digistrore24 bought another 20% of its shares from Richard who had then spd part of his stake in the company to other investors including Tomoaki Okamura. In 2015 Digistrore24 continued with its investment in CheckMarket when it acquired 30% of its shares from Richard Houghton who had then spd another part of his stake to other investors including Tomoaki Okamura after a dispute with other board members of CheckMarket over some issues including sales strategies and profitability issues with some businesses in which the company was operating at that time when Richard was still CEO of this company. In 2016 Digistrore24 completed its investment in CheckMarket when it acquired 50% of its shares from Richard who had then spd his entire stake in this company to other investors including Tomoaki Okamura after a dispute with other board members of CheckMarket over some issues especially profitability issues with some businesses in which the company was operating at that time when Richard was still CEO of this company. The last transactions led to a change in ownership structure of CheckMarket from a public limited company to a private limited company owned by Tomoaki Okamura who has been serving as CEO of this company since then till date after being appointed by board members from various sectors including from the government sector at that time when Richard Houghton had been no longer part of any leadership teams related to this company due to problems he had been having with Tomoaki Okamura over strategic issues for this business at that time when he was also no longer CEO of this company same as what had happened before when he started having similar problems with other board members over similar issues before he had left CheckMarket which led to his departure from this company along with other board members at that time who were unhappy about what was happening at that time due to questionable decisions made by Richard regarding strategic issues for this business same as what had happened previously when other board members had left CheckMarket after having similar disagreements with other board members during earlier stages of development for this business before Richard
