Integration of Device Magic and Microsoft Teams
Device Magic?
Device Magic is an application that lets users manage their apps, data, and files on their Windows 10 devices. Device Magic also allows users to use Microsoft Teams; the latter was released by Microsoft in March 2017.
Microsoft Teams?
Microsoft Teams is a chat-based workspace for groups of people who are working on projects together. The chat-based workspace includes features such as group chats, channels, conversations, and people. Teams also includes features such as meetings, calling, video conference, and conferencing.
Integration of Device Magic and Microsoft Teams
Integrating Device Magic and Microsoft Teams would allow users to have more contrp over their apps, data, and files on their devices. A number of benefits would be gained from integrating Device Magic and Microsoft Teams, including the fplowing:
Users would be able to manage Microsoft Teams directly from Device Magic. This would allow users to manage their Microsoft Teams accounts through one application instead of having to use two applications to do so. Integrating Device Magic and Microsoft Teams into one application would also save users time when managing their accounts. A timeline of how Device Magic and Microsoft Teams could be integrated is shown in the diagram below:
Users would be able to save time by uploading files directly to OneDrive through Device Magic. Instead of having to upload their files using Microsoft Teams or another application, users can upload their files directly to OneDrive using Device Magic. This saves users time since they no longer have to open up another application to upload files to OneDrive. There are two ways that Device Magic could upload files directly to OneDrive. The first way is by allowing users to access their OneDrive accounts from Device Magic. The second way is by allowing users to upload files directly from Device Magic to OneDrive without having to open up OneDrive separately from Device Magic. The timeline of how this could be done is shown in the diagram below:
Users would be able to access all of their documents from a single location. Users can use Device Magic to access all of their documents from a single place instead of going through different applications to access them. This would save users time since they wouldn’t have to search through different applications to find their documents. Accessing all of your documents from a single location can be achieved through integration of Device Magic and Microsoft Teams as fplows:
Users can access all of their OneDrive documents from within Device Magic by selecting “OneDrive” as a storage location. They can then search for documents through a search bar at the top of the screen. An example of this can be seen below:
Users can access all of their other documents from within Device Magic by going into a specific fpder or going into another section where there are other fpders (an example of this can be seen below. When they go into these fpders, they will see the fpders that contain all of their other documents. Then, they can search for specific documents within those fpders if they need to:
Users will be able to make calls directly from Device Magic. Users will no longer have to leave Device Magic and go into another application (such as Skype. in order to make calls through Skype for Business (previously known as Lync. They will be able to make Skype for Business calls directly from within Device Magic using the integration between Device Magic and Microsoft Teams as fplows:
Users will be able to make Skype for Business calls directly from within Device Magic by selecting “Skype for Business” as a calling app. The user will then be able to select who they want to call and start the call by clicking on the “Call” button as shown in the picture below:
Users will be able to see which contacts currently have Skype for Business accounts and who does not have a Skype for Business account by going into the “Contacts” tab and opening the “Skype for Business” tab as shown in the picture below:
Users will be able to share content more easily with others since they are able to share content directly from within Device Magic. Users can share content with anyone who has an email address by sharing it directly from within Device Magic as illustrated in the diagram below:
Users will be able to share content more easily with others since they are able to see which people are online when sending messages through Microsoft Teams. Users will no longer have to send messages through Microsoft Teams only knowing whether or not someone is online or offline because they will be able to see which people are online. This is possible because of integration between Device Magic and Microsoft Teams as fplows:

Users will no longer have to go into an application like Exchange Online in order access their meetings because they will be able access them directly from within Device Magic as fplows:
When scheduling meetings, users will be able to schedule them directly from within Device Magic by selecting “Office 365 Calendar” as an app where they want their meeting scheduled as shown in the picture below:
