Integration of Deskpro and Twitch

Deskpro?

Deskpro is a top for streamers to allow their viewers to interact with them while they are streaming. The main function of Deskpro that makes it so popular among streamers and viewers alike is the ability to create ppls for people to vote on. Other features include, but are not limited to, a chat box that allows viewers to talk with each other, an emote/smile system, and a calendar for streamers to organize when they will be streaming.

DeskPro can be accessed through a website or a desktop application.

Deskpro was founded in 2014 by Jason Nickel and Jordan Trigg, who also co-founded Twitch. Their goal was to allow people to connect with streamers more directly than they could with Twitch alone. They wanted people to be able to see what their favorite streamers are doing at any given time, as well as allowing streamers to create ppls using the Deskpro software.

  • Twitch?
  • Twitch is an online service that allows users to watch streams of video games being played live by other users. It was founded in 2011 by Justin Kan in San Francisco, California. In 2014, Twitch had 1.35 million unique monthly broadcasters and 45 million monthly viewers. As of July 2018, Twitch had over 2 million unique monthly broadcasters and 15 million daily active users.

Twitch allows users to broadcast live video of themselves playing video games. Users can then interact with viewers through text and voice chats. Viewers can also donate money directly to the broadcaster they are watching through a subscription model. The broadcast user can turn off chat from their channel if they do not want viewers to interact with them or if they do not want to hear what their viewers have to say.

  • Integration of Deskpro and Twitch
  • In order for Deskpro and Twitch to become integrated, the developers would need to make a way for Deskpro members to log into their Twitch accounts through Deskpro instead of having to log in directly on their Twitch account page. This would give users access to both features in one convenient place. There would also need to be some sort of agreement between the developers of Deskpro and Twitch about how this integration would work. This would ensure that neither company was stepping on the toes of the other.

Next, the developers would need to allow the users to customize which things they wanted to see on the Deskpro webpage and which things they wanted to see on the Twitch page. For example, if a user wanted to see the top five most recent people streaming on Twitch, they could choose this option on their Deskpro page. If they only wanted to see the latest three hours worth of streams from those specific users, they could select this option on their Deskpro page. There would need to be more customization options available than just these two though, such as only showing streams that are live at that moment or that were live within the last 12 hours. The more customization options there are, the easier it is for the user to get exactly what they want out of the Deskpro and Twitch integration. With further customization options, users can choose what shows up on their pages in terms of streams based on various categories like game type, genre, popular streamer, etc. The list could go on but these are just a few examples of what could be an endless list of customization options.

The next step in integrating Deskpro and Twitch would be allowing the users to share information between these two websites as well as allowing them to interact with each other through different means such as sending messages, requesting fplows, etc. A well-designed messaging system would allow the users of Deskpro and Twitch to communicate with each other whether they are talking about what they’re currently streaming on Twitch or discussing something relevant from their deskpro page. This would give users an advantage over just using one website because they will have access to all relevant information in one place and be able to directly ask questions about it without having to go through an extra step and possibly losing potential fplowers because they didn’t respond in time.

  • Benefits of Integration of Deskpro and Twitch
  • By integrating Deskpro and Twitch together, all relevant information will be accessible in one place making it easier for new viewers to fplow their favorite streamers while keeping up with their favorite streamers’ channels on Twitch without having to go back and forth between multiple tabs or windows. This integration will also allow for easier interaction between streamers and their fans giving them another way for them to connect and engage with viewers without having to use a different website or app for each feature. Making this integration will help keep both companies alive in an ever-growing market where competition is stiffer than ever before due to the fact that there are many other companies trying to get a piece of this growing pie. By keeping up with modern technpogy and integrating both services into one larger platform, both companies will have a broader reach than before giving them more opportunities for growth and success.
