Integration of Deskpro and Google Tasks

In the past couple of years, I have been using Google Tasks and Deskpro for managing my tasks. Before that, I was using Microsoft Outlook. However, I have to say that I am much more satisfied with Google Tasks and Deskpro than with Microsoft Outlook. They are both free, and they allow me to manage my tasks and to-do lists very easily.

  • Integration of Deskpro and Google Tasks is one of the most important reasons why I am happier with Google Tasks and Deskpro than with Microsoft Outlook. One of the biggest problems with Microsoft Outlook is that it does not have any kind of integration with other applications or web-based services. This means that you cannot use it to manage your tasks in a flexible way. For example, you cannot assign a task to someone from another application.

    On the other hand, Deskpro and Google Tasks have integration with many different applications and services. For example, you can use Deskpro as a synchronization point for your Google Calendar, Google Docs, Google Contacts, etc. In addition to that, you can use Deskpro to synchronize your tasks with Google Calendar. You can also use Deskpro to schedule appointments on Google Calendar and also sync your tasks with your mobile phone and PDA (Personal Digital Assistant. On the other hand, you can also use Deskpro to manage your tasks directly from your mobile phone or PDA. This means that you can complete a task by sending an email message from your mobile phone or PDA. If you want, you can also use Deskpro as a synchronization point for your Lotus Notes database.

    In addition to that, if you want, you can also sync your tasks with Microsoft Outlook. If you do that, the task will be synchronized between your computer and your mobile phone or PDA.     I have been using Google Tasks and Deskpro for almost two years now, and I have been quite happy with them so far. However, if I were going to choose between them again today, I would choose Deskpro over Google Tasks because it allows me to integrate my tasks with several different applications including Gmail, Calendar, Lotus Notes, etc. This means that I can manage my tasks more effectively by using different tops for different purposes (e.g., using Gmail for personal messages and using Deskpro for managing my working hours.
