  • The integration of Deskpro and Cloud Firestore is very simple. The fplowing steps need to be taken to complete this integration.

    Go to https://firestore.google.com/docs/reference/java/firebase/database/FirebaseDatabase#initialize-database. In the list of parameters, enter the configuration of the database you want to create in Deskpro. Click “Show Advanced Options” and click “Add Parameter” in the “Parameters” section of the dialog box. Add a new parameter called “dbname” and give it a value of “<deskpro_database>”. Make sure that you have the correct path to Deskpro on your computer and that you are logged into the correct account when creating the database in Deskpro. Run the application by clicking the play button on the top left corner of the code editor. Launch Deskpro by double-clicking the icon on your desktop (if running Windows. Create a new database by right clicking on “Databases” on the left side of the screen. Create a new database called <deskpro_database> in Deskpro. Right click on the newly created database and select “Import from SQL Database”. Select Google Cloud Firestore as your source type and click “Next”.
