Integration of Delay By Connect and Mailgun

You may be using Delay By Connect and Mailgun, but do you know how to integrate the two? It could be as simple as connecting them with a few lines of code. This article will explain how to create a top that will automatically send emails through your Delay By Connect account and then post those emails to your site’s blog.

  • Integration of Delay By Connect and Mailgun
  • To begin, we’re going to need to connect the two services together. The first thing we’ll do is create a new Event in our Mailgun account. To do this, log into your Mailgun account and go to the “Events” tab. From there, click on “Create New Event.” Fill out the fields as shown below.

    Once you have created your event, you will be directed to a page showing the event ID and a link to edit it. Click on the “View Event Details” link. You should now see a page that looks like the one below.

    Under the “Dynamic Content” section, copy and paste the fplowing code:

    { "from" . "Your Name <[email protected]urdomain.com>" , "subject" . "Your Subject" , "body" . "<h1>{{ page.title }}}</h1>" , "to" . { "email_address" . xxxx @ yyyyyy .com } }

    where [email protected] is your Delay By Connect account email address. Also, change “Your Subject” and “Your Title” to something useful for your needs. This code will insert the title of your latest post from your WordPress site into the subject line of your email. If you have more than one page in your site, you can include them all by using a pipe symbp (|. as shown below:

    { "from" . "Your Name <[email protected]>" , "subject" . "Your Subject" , "body" . "<h1>{{ page.title | split. | }}}</h1>" , "to" . { "email_address" . xxxxx @ yyyyyy .com } }

    Next, copy and paste the fplowing code into the “Message” field on the right side of the screen:

    <strong>Hi {{ user | user_name }}!</strong> <p>{{ text }}</p>

    Again, change [email protected] to your Delay By Connect account email address, change “{{ user | user_name }}” to something like “{{ user_name }}”, and change {{ text }} to something like “You have received an email from us” or any other message you would like to include. This code will make sure that the name of the sender is inserted into the body of the email and that text is included at the end of the email. Feel free to modify it however you like.

    Finally, click on “Save Event” at the bottom right corner of the screen to save your changes, then click on “Add Another Event” above it to add another event with the same parameters as before. Make sure that both events are set to “Enabled” so emails will be sent when the trigger occurs. Now when someone subscribes to your mailing list, they will receive an email from Delay By Connect with their subscription notice enclosed in it.

  • Benefits of Integration of Delay By Connect and Mailgun
  • Now that we have established that Delay By Connect can send emails through Mailgun in bulk, what else can we do with this integration? Since Delay By Connect allows users to embed YouTube videos in posts using video shortcodes, we can also use this functionality to post videos on our sites when someone subscribes or unsubscribes from our mailing list. Here is an example of what this might look like with some modification to suit your needs:

    On your WordPress site, create a new delay by connecting event with the fplowing code in the “Dynamic Content” field:

    <strong>Hi {{ user | user_name }}!</strong> <p>We noticed that you joined our email list.</p> <iframe width="425" height="349" src="https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/{{ page.video_id }}?rel=0&vq=hd720&auto_play=false&showinfo=0&origin=http://yourdomain.com"></iframe> <p><a rel="nofollow" href="http://yourdomain.com/">Click Here To View Our Video</a></p> <p><a rel="nofollow" href="https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/subscription_center?add_user=YourDomainName">Subscribe To Our Channel</a></p> <h3>Video Content</h3> <iframe width="425" height="349" src="https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/{{ page.video_id }}?rel=0&vq=hd720&auto_play=false&showinfo=0&origin=http://yourdomain.com"></iframe> <p><a rel="nofollow" href="http://yourdomain.com/">Click Here To View Our Video</a></p> <p><a rel="nofollow" href="https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/subscription_center?add_user=YourDomainName">Subscribe To Our Channel</a></p> <h3>Video Content</h3> <iframe width="425" height="349" src="https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/{{ page.video_id }}?rel=0&vq=hd720&auto_play=false&showinfo=0&origin=http://yourdomain.com"></iframe> <p><a rel="nofollow" href="http://yourdomain.com/">Click Here To View Our Video</a></p> <p><a rel="nofollow" href="https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/subscription_center?add_user=YourDomainName">Subscribe To Our Channel</a></p> <h3>Video Content</h3> <iframe width="425" height="349" src="https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/{{ page.video_id }}?rel=0&vq=hd720&auto_play=false&showinfo=0&origin=http://yourdomain.com"></iframe> <p><a rel="nofollow" href="http://yourdomain.com/">Click Here To View Our Video</a></p> <p><a rel="nofollow" href="https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/subscription_center?add_user=YourDomainName">Subscribe To Our Channel</a></p> <h3>Video Content</h3> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </section><!-- End comments --><!-- Footer --> <footer id="footer"> <section id="footer-content"> <ul class="social-icons"> <li><a rel="nofollow" href="#"><i class="fa fa-facebook"></i></a></li><li><a rel="nofollow" href="#"><i class="fa fa-twitter"></i></a></li><li><a rel="nofollow" href="#"><i class="fa fa-google-plus"></i></a></li><li><a rel="nofollow" href="#"><i class="fa fa-rss"></i></a></li><li><a rel="nofollow" href="#"><i class="fa fa-instagram"></i></a></li><li><a rel="nofollow" href="#"><i class="fa fa-youtube"></i></a></li><li><a rel="nofollow" href="#"><i class="fa fa-tumblr"></i></a></li><li><a rel="nofollow" href="#"><i class="fa fa-linkedin"></i></a></li><li><a rel="nofollow" href="#"><i class="fa fa-reddit"></i></a></li><li><a rel="nofollow" href="#"><i class="fa fa-dribbble
