DEAR stands for Digital Education and Academic Resource and is a system that maintains a library of academic resources, which can be accessed by students and faculty. It was designed to store the growing body of digital resources in all formats, including audio and video. Most databases are created to help users find a specific item. DEAR Inventory maintains a list of items located at the University’s library. For example, one can search for books in the library using the DEAR database and then request that the book be sent over to the user’s campus location.
