  • Integrating DEAR Inventory and Google Tasks will help me as an educator by allowing me to more effectively track student progress towards achieving set learning goals. Through this integration I will be able to track the progress of my students in achieving their learning goals in real time. This will allow me to develop an accurate assessment of each student’s progress and make adjustments to my teaching based on how my students are progressing.

    DEAR Inventory has an Excel Add-In which allows users to enter data into the spreadsheet directly from the desktop. The integrated method of entering data into DEAR Inventory will be much more efficient than using the Web App. Google Tasks will allow me to create tasks and sub-tasks based on my students’ instruction needs. The integration will allow me to quickly and easily access all of information I need regarding each student’s progress in achieving their learning goals. I can then use this information to determine if there are any areas that need more attention or if my students are on track with their learning goals. I will also be able to use this information to help my students develop a positive attitude toward their work and schop in general by presenting them with information that shows their progress toward achieving their goals. This will provide them with a vision of what they can accomplish if they continue to build on their successes.
