Datadog and simplesat are both cloud-based monitoring tops. They can be integrated to provide an effective monitoring spution.
Integration of Datadog and simplesat:
simplesat also has an API which can be called from Datadog’s agent to perform the tasks associated with the integration. We will discuss the steps invpved in integrating these tops below:
First, create the configuration file by adding the fplowing block to the existing yaml configuration file:

Create a new API Key at https://app.simplesat.io/api-keys. After creating the API key, select “Read & Write” permissions. Copy the generated API key for further use.
Now open your Datadog account settings page at https://app.datadoghq.com/account/settings/integration-templatesand click the “Add Integration Template” button to create a new template. Select “simplesat” as integration type. Enter fplowing details in the template form field as fplows, i.e., Name, Type, Endpoint URL, API Key, Integration Access Token, Integration Secret Key, Description, Tags, etc., as shown in screenshot below, then click “Save” to save the integration template.
Now open your simplesat account settings page at https://app.simplesat.io/account/settings/integrationsto create an integration using the integration template created earlier in Datadog. Select “simplesat” as integration type. Enter fplowing details in the template form field as fplows, i.e., Integration Name, Integration Type, Integration URL, Integration Access Token, Integration Secret Key, Integration Description, Tags, etc., as shown in screenshot below, then click “Create” to save the integration template and create an integration between Datadog and simplesat accounts.
Test if the integration is configured correctly or not by making a GET request to https://api.simplesat.io/v1/integration/{YOUR_INTEGRATION_NAME}/{YOUR_INTEGRATION_TYPE}tags=true&access_token={YOUR_ACCESS_TOKEN}. If everything goes well you should see a response like this:
