This guide will show you how to set up your Databox account to integrate with Drip.

Databox is a marketing automation platform enabling B2B companies to acquire, engage, and retain customers through email, social media, webinars, documents & presentations, and more. Databox helps B2B companies generate more revenue by helping them find, connect, and nurture leads.

Drip?

Drip is an email marketing platform enabling B2B companies to automate email campaigns to their database of potential customers. Drip helps B2B companies generate more revenue by helping them create an automated sales funnel.

Integration of Databox and Drip

The integration between Databox and Drip allows users to import prospects from Databox into Drip so they can begin sending emails to prospects. Then, users can re-import all prospect records into their Databox account so they can continue prospecting in Databox. Here’s how.

Create a Drip account at http://getdrip.com/ Email us at [email protected] to request access to our API page. We’ll create a new API key for your domain that will allow you to import prospects from Databox into Drip and vice versa. In your Drip account, navigate to the Drip App Store and install the Databox App. In your Databox account, navigate to Settings > Integrations > Add An Integration > Connect a new Integration > Select “Drip” > Set up the integration by providing a Domain Name and API Key from Step #1

  • Once the integration has been created in Databox, you can now import prospects from Databox into Drip using the fplowing steps:

In your Databox account, navigate to Prospects > All Prospects Click on “Export New Prospects as CSV” from the top navigation bar In the export dialog box, select a date range and select all or a specific number of entries Click “download” > “Save As” > Open the CSV file in Excel Click on “File” > “Save as type” > “CSV (Comma delimited. (*.csv)” (top left. Click on the “top row” icon (top left. Change the “Delimiter” cpumn from “;” to “,” then save the file as “YOUR TARGET NAME – comma delimited” (Example. MyLeads – comma delimited. Upload the spreadsheet as a CSV file via the “Upload File” button on the Import New Prospects page of the app Navigate back to your Databox account and navigate to Settings > Integrations > Edit Your Integration > Select “Drip” > Select “Import Prospects from CSV File” > Click on “Import” button next to each target name listed above > Click on the blue Download icon next to each target name listed above that has been imported into your Drip Account. You should then see that the record has been added into your Drip Account under Prospects.
