Convertkit is a powerful email service for bloggers and online business owners. It is a “self-hosted” service, which means it offers a similar functionality to services like Mailchimp or Aweber. It is recommended for advanced users due to the complexity of its features. The company claims to be used by more than 30,000 bloggers, agency owners, and small businesses.
Netlify is an automated platform for continuous deployment of modern websites and web applications. It is a PaaS (Platform as a Service. and consists of several components to deploy, host and maintain your website in a single place. As a result, Netlify removes the need to manually provision, scale, and manage servers.
ConvertKit is a self-hosted email service that allows users to send professional looking emails with a high deliverability rate. Netlify is a hosted PaaS that automatically deploys static websites to their own free hosting service. These two services are integrated because it is possible to use the email service with the static site hosting. This was valuable to me because I was trying to find a way to keep my website up to date without having to manually update it each time I created new content on my blog.
ConvertKit’s main benefit is its ease of use. The application has everything you need in order to create great-looking emails such as mobile responsive templates, drag & drop images/videos, and customized CSS for even more creativity. It also has analytics and charts to track your open rates and engagement rates over time. In terms of technical integration, there is not much to do other than enabling the integration between ConvertKit and Netlify. For example, if you want to add an image from your ConvertKit account into your blog post, all you have to do is copy the image URL from your ConvertKit account into your post editor on Netlify and publish the post. You will see that the image will be automatically added when you hit publish! Another advantage of this integration was that it did not require any complicated coding – everything was done through the web applications. In other words, the integration was very streamlined.
Overall, I enjoyed working with ConvertKit and Netlify. It was convenient to be able to just type in the title of my post into one app and then directly see it appear in another app with no manual input required. I also liked that the integration was seamless and easy. I found that there were no hiccups in transitioning from one app to the next. There was no confusion about what each platform needed from me, so I didn’t have to spend extra time studying the different applications before starting my work. The reason I started using ConvertKit and Netlify in the first place was because I wanted something that would allow me to focus more on creating content instead of keeping my website updated. This integration did exactly that for me and allowed me to spend more time writing content instead of being bogged down by technical details. Overall, I think this integration is fantastic and recommend it to anyone who wants a hassle-free spution for updating their blog posts!
