For companies that want to integrate text messaging with their Constant Contact marketing efforts, there are several methods available. The simplest method is to simply add SMS By Connect to your account (for free!. This will allow you to easily send text messages to your subscribers and contacts. However, if you want to take things a step further and integrate text messages into your email marketing campaign, then you will need to look into another method.

Companies that do not want to send automated messages via their Constant Contact account can pay a one-time fee of $250 for a custom integration with SMS By Connect. In this method, your messages will be sent from your own computer system to SMS By Connect's system, so they will be able to be sent from any device using the Internet. This integration also allows companies to track how many messages have been sent and if a message was acted on. If a message is not acted on within a certain amount of time, it can be automatically re-sent without any manual input from the user. Once a message has been sent through this integration, the message will show up in the subscriber's inbox as if it were an email from Constant Contact. When a subscriber opens the message, it will appear as a text message instead of an email.
